@crockpics Actually the tour came to the Shoreline Theater in Palo Alto and it was such an excellent show.

Fast forward to 1987, and Bowie was designing his massive, boundary-pushing Glass Spider World Tour. Wanting a powerhouse player on lead guitar, he called up his old school pal to join the band. Man, I’m glad I’m no longer in law enforcement. This pinhead was technically “right” up to a point. However, at his first utterance of “I’m looking for the Easter bunny,” this guy lost his right to be cutesy. That was the “line crossed” where “exercising his 1A/2A” intersected with officer & community safety. That’s an abnormal statement to make, in what he turned into an escalatory situation. The points he tried to make evaporated when he interjected reasonable doubt of mental health instability while carrying a locked and loaded AR-15 as he began goading police. Words have consequences; especially with public safety in an era of mass-shootings.
