Bernita and Alan Davies, both 60, from Wrexham, ignored their anxious 32-year-old daughter Steffie as she lay bedbound for up to 12 months, wasting away to under 6 stone with horrific bed sores down to the bone, lice in her matted hair and flies around her mouth. They carried on with normal life (full fridge, tidy garden) while refusing any medical help, until she died in agony from sepsis and malnutrition. Judge slammed their "complete indifference" and total lack of love. Both caged for just 8 years each at Mold Crown Court. How do parents let their own child die like this?!
