I canceled my wedding... because my fiancée's careless actions almost killed my Labrador. 💔 I'm 28, she's 27. We were together for 4 years, engaged for 6 months. My Labrador is 7 years old — very gentle, loyal Last Saturday, she had her bachelorette party at home. I went to my parents' place and left the dog with her because she said she liked him. Before leaving, I simply said: "When the party starts, put him in the bedroom." That's it. Sunday morning at 5 AM, I got a call. She was panicking, saying something happened to the dog. She was so drunk she couldn't speak clearly. I told her to take him straight to the vet. When I arrived, she was crying. Friends told me the dog was alive... but not okay. Then the vet informed me... My dog had consumed alcohol... and had also eaten chocolate edibles. 💔 Everything was left open — drinks, edibles — all within his reach. No one put him in the room. Everyone was busy... and he was poisoned. That dog trusts people completely. And they let him down. When I got home, I said directly — pack your things, cancel the wedding. She was shocked. I wasn’t. Then I started getting calls. Her family, friends... everyone said I was overreacting. "Ending a relationship over one mistake." My family was also on her side. My mom said: "She didn't mean to. The dog survived, right?" Yes… he survived. Barely. 💔 My sister also said I overreacted. But no one understands... This isn't just about one night. She uses her phone while driving. She has left the stove on before. I kept ignoring it. But this time? My dog was involved. A life that depends on us. And she couldn’t follow a simple instruction. She's not a child. She's 27 years old. If I can’t trust her now... how will I in the future? With kids? A home? Love alone isn’t enough... when someone’s carelessness can cost a life. I can't risk my life on the next "accident." 💔

@ColinSpenc4257 Numerous times, she also kept some stuff I can only say was like tar in the bathroom cabinet. She called it Black Jack , it was a drawing ointment. Had it applied under a plaster one night before bed to get a particularly deep splinter out. 👌👍😁

PAEDO RING WHO PREYED ON BABIES JAILED FOR HORRIFIC ABUSE ⛔️⛔️⛔️ Seven paedophiles who preyed on a baby and young children acted "beyond human instinct" and were guilty of "terrifying depravity", a judge said. Jailing them, Judge Julian Lambert said the men had engaged in "the most grossly deviant behaviour imaginable". He said what they had done made some feel "physically sick". The prison sentences issued to the gang members, who streamed some attacks on the internet, range from two years to 24 years. The court was told the men would drive hundreds of miles for a chance to rape or abuse a child. The group, who lived at addresses across England, raped and assaulted three children a baby, a toddler and a young child between 2013 and 2014. Bristol Crown Court heard the men groomed families to get to children, in one case targeting a pregnant woman in order to abuse her baby after its birth. They would stream and watch attacks live online, providing encouragement to those carrying out abuse. They also shared advice over online chat logs about how to drug young victims. The judge said: "In the worst nightmare, from the very deepest recesses of the mind, at the darkest hour of the night, few can have imagined the terrifying depravity which you men admit." He said the depths they sank to were "shocking to all decent people", "provokes tears in many and makes others feel physically sick". Andy Quinn, from the National Crime Agency, said the crimes were horrific "What you did is contrary to all nature and humanity and you each appear to have a chilling tendency to centre the world on yourselves and your depraved desires without regard for the innocent and vulnerable." John Brown, from the the NSPCC, said the gravity of the offending is "difficult to comprehend" and the children involved may be affected in later life. He said: "It may be that they don't have a recollection of what's happened, but trauma can manifest itself in later years so I think that's really important to watch out for. "Those babies and those children are going to need to be monitored and they need to have on-going longer-term support, and their families as well." The inquiry began in September 2014 when defendant Adam Toms dialled 999 and was heard crying down the line. He was arrested after officers were sent to his home following concerns for his welfare and he admitted sexually abusing a child under the age of five. This triggered the uncovering of an organised crime group, and the resulting inquiry was led by the National Crime Agency (NCA). Robin Hollyson, 31, from Bedfordshire, was sentenced to 24 years in prison and a further eight years on licence. He was filmed abusing the baby. Christopher Knight, 35, from Manchester, was jailed for 18 years, with an extension of six years on licence Matthew Stansfield, 35, from Hampshire was jailed for 14 years Adam Toms, 33, from Somerset, received a 12-year sentence, and four years on licence John Denham, 50, from Wiltshire previously known as Benjamin Harrop was jailed for eight years plus four years on licence Matthew Lisk, 32, from East Sussex, was jailed for four years, plus an extension of three years on licence David Harsley, 51, from East Yorkshire, was jailed for two years All were placed on the sex offenders register for life, except for Harsley. The judge has yet to determine how long he will be on the register for. Ian Glover, who headed up the National Crime Agency investigation, described them as "by far the worst paedophile group I have ever investigated". He said they had treated children "as a commodity, to be passed on to others, to be filmed, to be abused and that abuse shown to other paedophiles as a form of currency, so they can get other material back".

£10,300,000,000. That’s what British taxpayers handed over in April — in a single month — just to service the interest on Labour’s borrowed money. Not a penny of it reducing the debt. Every single pound of it gone. Forever. The ONS confirmed it yesterday. The highest April debt interest payment ever recorded. Not since the war. Not since the 70s crisis. Not in living memory. Now. Under this government. Under this Chancellor. Rachel Reeves stood at that despatch box in March and told Parliament she had “headroom.” She had a “plan.” The OBR had forecast £20.9bn in April borrowing. The actual figure came in at £24.3bn — £3.4bn over forecast before the ink was even dry. Here’s what “headroom” looks like in practice: a £10.3bn interest bill paid to bond markets in a single month while 14 million people use food banks, the NHS crumbles, and working people pay more tax than at any point since records began. Labour isn’t managing the economy. It’s mortgaging our children’s future to keep the lights on today. And the markets are starting to notice.

Horrific ignorance A little boy could have been saved from rape if his mum hadn’t ignored repeated warnings from police and social services. David Bradbury filmed and encouraged William Gamble as the 65-year-old carried out horrific sexual abuse against the child. Bradbury, 55, later offered to pay the boy’s mum £30 for more access to the victim. The “dangerous” rapists, who “acted as a team”, were both jailed for 16 years, with an extended one year on licence, in March. But the boy’s mum, who cannot be named because that would identify her son, appeared for sentence, after she admitted child neglect and conceded that she had deliberately and repeatedly exposed her son to the risk of sexual abuse. Liverpool Crown Court heard police visited the mum’s home and learned her son was regularly sleeping in the same bed as Gamble last year. Sarah Holt, prosecuting, said the mum confirmed this was true, but said: “They’re fully clothed, you know, nothing like that.” An officer told her he had “real concerns”, this contact should stop and under no circumstances should Gamble be left alone with the boy. Ms Holt said the mum claimed she wanted nothing more to do with Gamble and the officer spoke to the boy, who said he was friends with Gamble, but didn’t disclose any abuse. Following concerns raised by the officer, a social worker was allocated to the family, who later discovered the boy was at Gamble and Bradbury’s home in St Helens. The court heard the mum said she “couldn’t say no” to the pair and the boy was seen with his head in his hands, shaking and repeating: “I hate my life.” The mum again said she wouldn’t let her son go to their home and was told not to let him speak to them unsupervised. However, social services later found Bradbury had talked to the boy unsupervised and the boy had asked his mum if he could visit them, because he missed them. Later that day, the mum sent Bradbury a text message saying: “Send him home at 7 please.” In a reply from his phone, Bradbury asked the mum whether he could sleep in bed with her son on three occasions, adding: “I will give you 30 pound.” She replied: “No, not allowed social worker said so.” On another day, she text Bradbury saying “thank you for the crisp Dave” to which he replied “no thanks needed can I just ask can I see him any” and she answered “when the social worker says so I got a by by her”. The mum text Bradbury on another occasion saying “good night Dave thank you for he’s sweets x”. Ms Holt said social services decided the boy was “at risk of significant harm” and a safety plan was outlined to the mum. She was invited to an “Initial Child Protection Conference”, but later on the same day she received the invite, her son was twice filmed being raped. It was decided at the conference that a child protection order should be made, under the category of neglect. The mum was told her son should not have any contact with the couple and said she had been following the safety plan. The court heard the mum was reminded of this on three further occasions. However, on a further date her son asked her on WhatsApp if he could go to the couple’s house and she gave him a time to be home. There were numerous video calls between the boy and Gamble and in one voice note the mum asked her son to be home by 9pm. Ms Holt said the mum also sent a photo of her son lying on a rug and two photos of the boy in school uniform to Gamble. Three videos were created on two further dates, which showed the boy being raped at Gamble and Bradbury’s home. The mum and Gamble exchanged further texts and calls, before she was visited by two detectives and a social worker, when she claimed she hadn’t seen the couple recently. The abuse was only discovered after Gamble and Bradbury uploaded an image of child abuse, not involving the same boy to Facebook.
