Ozempic just seems like a Fairy Tale curse to me. Like a wish from a jinn. You can lose weight but also, destory your ability to build muscle tone. You may be thin and attractive but, just as your desire to eat has been nullified, so have all other desires. Is it just me?

Remembering the sublime genius, Maurice Cole, AKA Kenny Everett, who passed away on this day in 1995. Here he is in a very famous sketch alongside his friend and regular co-star, Billy Connolly, that took almost a day to record. Why? Well, because they hadn't hired any extras for the sketch they roped in some music hall performers who were recording in the studio next door and they all appeared in costume, much to the amusement of Kenny and Billy. My upper body strength has massively improved since I started in Sep

Regardless of the merits, the outrage at King Charles not giving an Easter message (given that he has given a Ramadan greeting) has been artificially exploited. A lot of ordinary people and church leaders have understandably expressed displeasure, but the hysteria has all of the hallmarks of deliberate agitprop - agitation propaganda. Many Christians are being riled up and distracted from the true focus of Easter - which is sober reflection on the enormity of Christ's sacrifice, and then celebration at the triumph of the resurrection. This is NOT a time to be bickering, and it is not a time to be stirring up strife over Islam. These outcomes appear to be the aim. [I am a Christian, and a member of the Anglican church (and was born in England). I do not draw my identity from whether the King says or does things that suit my preferences.]
