@astnkennedy honestly, use AI to build, go read a book to sharpen your mind after work hours.

I'm 22 years old and Claude Code is deteriorating my brain. Every single day for the last 6 months I've had 6 to 8 Claude Code terminals open, waiting for a response just so I can hit 'enter' 75% of the time. And it's doing something to me. In convos with a couple of friends, it's been a point that's been brought up pretty frequently. None of us feel as sharp as we used to. I don't know if it's just us, or others in their 20s are feeling the same thing, but it's something I've been thinking about a lot. P.S. I know this is a problem with my reliability/usage of it, not Claude Code itself, but the effects are real nonetheless

Got a message from @claudeai that my account has been disabled. No explanation. Just this: "An internal investigation of your account indicates ongoing suspicious patterns, which violate our Usage Policy. As a result, we have revoked your access to Claude." "ongoing suspicious patterns" Of course there's a link to "appeal," which I used, but that was weeks ago, and I strongly suspect I'll never hear back. This is a huge bummer, because Claude was absolutely my go-to model. I've been vocal about how and why it's my strong preference, and had been building up a number of valuable workflows within my account. Now it might as well have all been deleted. I'd even be willing open up a new account, with a different email address, if I had any clue what triggered this. Whatever it was, safe to say I wouldn't do it anymore. But who knows! Since there's basically no such thing as customer service, posting about this publicly is basically my last resort. Guys, I really don't want to switch to GPT.

My biggest issue with letting AI write more code for me is, that it becomes quite exhausting checking code that I did not write. Maybe some of you are used to that. I am definitely not... yet.

Permanent memory is the worst feature across all agents. “Claude is not as good as it was” Memory is a system prompt that the agents create for themselves. You have no idea what’s written there, how correct it is and how it affects agents performance. Usually it’s for the worse
Claude@claudeai

Memory on Claude Managed Agents is now in public beta. Your agents can now learn from every session, using an intelligence-optimized memory layer that balances performance with flexibility.

@yongfook One shot for a complicated app? Likely not. But a week of iterative fine tunings + solid QA? You can do it.

The idea of "one shotting" an app using AI is a fugazi. If you had to describe my app and all the edge cases I have solved over the years, it would be a prompt the size of a small book, and my app isn't even that complicated. The people promoting creating a business overnight with AI are just selling a get rich quick pipedream. Those grifters are present in every cycle. AI has completely transformed how I work, but you can't push a button and make money. Doesn't work like that.
Ronan Berder@hunvreus

Talking to smarter folks than me, I'm convinced many of the AI folks in my timeline are full of shit. Nobody is "running 20 agents over night" and building stuff for actual users. Maybe some are building internal tools or disposable software. Maybe. But building software people like using? That doesn't get hacked on day one or blow up after the 3rd user? Nope. I don't even understand what that's supposed to look like. Do you work out a 57 pages document that perfectly describes what you want to build and then summon 14 agents and have them run wild for 6 hours? And what comes out on the other end isn't a broken pile of shit? Nope. Not buying it. PS: it may also be that I have an IQ of 82 and can't figure it out.

Thinking to downgrade my Anthropic plan from $100 to $20, and move from $20 to $100 on Codex. But only now noticed this line in Anthropic pricing plans. So if Max plans get PRIORITY access, which is already shaky... It means that $20 plan basically may often not work AT ALL?

@Mayer @grok how is the banking in Panama? Do they open accounts to foreigners easily? Do they provide a good digital banking experience? How easy it is to transfer money out of the country? And are the banks really stable? Not shady stories of disappearing accounts?

@piba_il

@Saggn @itaizil
