Honoring a Coast Guard Hero. 🇺🇸   This week, the Coast Guard conducted a Dignified Arrival for Aviation Survival Technician (AST2) Tyler Jaggers. Following a ceremony at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, Washington, a C-130 transported AST2 Jaggers and his family to Joint Base Andrews. In the presence of the Commandant of the Coast Guard,  Coast Guard servicemembers, and loved ones, the Ceremonial Honor Guard received AST2 Jaggers’ casket and rendered honors.   AST2 Jaggers made the ultimate sacrifice while exhibiting extraordinary courage in the face of danger. In recognition of his heroism, Jaggers was advanced to Petty Officer Second Class and awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.   We are forever grateful for his selfless and unwavering devotion to serving our nation, and upholding the @USCG’s highest calling: to save the lives of others. Please join us in praying for his family, fellow crew members, and loved ones.
