@TheBaronMrk I think most gamers are bad about thinking about games critically. Most of what they call "optional" is often a mechanic the devs want you to utilize liberally. Mechanics don't exist in a vacuum and it does games a disservice to treat them as such, even if intended as a defense.

MH fans piss me off:
a mechanic being "optional" doesn't mean it can't warp the design of other elements(or that said elements weren't designed with the optional mechanic in mind)
literally the series with multiple weapons where you can play the entire game with just your fav

My favourite thing about more open RPGs is how awful the Bad Guy's security is if you look around thoroughly.

@Lunay678 I think you want a completely different RPG style game. In MH you hunt monsters hundreds of times. If the tracking was more complicated it'd be way too annoying. Maybe a game like Dragons Dogma but they make the big monsters much rarer and you hunt them to extinction.

I just want a proper tracking system! 😭 I feel like it cannot possibly be that difficult to do properly. Not Wilds anymore tho. That's over already.
But I suppose as long as the fight-hungry button mashers are a part of this community I feel like that's all a wasted effort atp.

@ZaVileBob Is it intentional that it doesn't seem to maintain a consistent speed? Like it's not like it's just simply speeding up it's sort of wobbling like somebody making a youtube poop and they put too many keyframes into the joke.

@biggieU_U Setting up AI nodes for cover is hard. Just make enemies do the Sex Offender Shuffle, if they can't find one of the handful of objects we set up as cover in the level editor, and that'll count as evasion.

La7, an Italian television channel has used footage from Nvidia DLSS 5 Trailer and then sent a copyright strike to every YouTube video that supposedly used “their footage”, including Nvidia themselves.
Nvidia’s own DLSS 5 announcement video has now been taken down by La7 as you can see here.
