Looks like it went about as expected. Williams and Williamson appear to be the two from the SS group who will make it, and Simpson beat the rest of the OF group

@13done @benwhitelaw73 fair enough, but i also don’t really think any of JDL (excellent defense), mullins, or fraley (both given major league contracts) were at any risk of NOT making the team, leaving chandler as the last one standing of the guys who at least had an argument to not make the team

@13done @benwhitelaw73 obviously the baserunning was excellent but even with the high BA his OBP and OPS were fairly low, and his defense was terrible. i’m a big fan of his as a player but i could see why it’d at least be a conversation for the rays

@benwhitelaw73 Was this reported anywhere? He came up last year and played the rest of the year while hitting. 295 and 44 stolen bases. He would've had to have the worst month of his professional baseball career this spring to not make the club
