Cursor or Claude Code—which ships faster? Been running both in parallel for 3 weeks. The answer is not what the community expects.

Ooo, he’s about to solve the mystery! I used Seedance 2.0 on @TopviewAIhq to create this video. You can create multi-scene videos, edit them on a timeline, and go beyond 15 seconds.

@menhguin anthropic always shipped well-rounded. the 'code-focused' narrative came from benchmarks, not the actual product. people read leaderboards more than they read changelogs

all this talk of labs "locking in" and "code red", i feel like the most successful labs just clearly have the most fun using their own product vs trying to get ahead for its own sake

This entire video started from a single image, in partnership with @AdobeFirefly What if one image was never just one image? With Firefly, a single frame can expand into new angles, new moments, and entirely new scenes. #AdobePartner Here’s how I did it👇

Vibe coding is great for prototypes. Terrible for production. The best AI operators write specs first, then let the model execute. Vibes ship demos. Specs ship products.

Worked with a SaaS founder stuck at 12 users. Problem wasn't the product. Problem: No one could find it. Added 5 SEO pages targeting specific problems. 4 months later: 340 organic visitors/month, 28 paying users. Distribution compounds.📈

@sukhdeep7896 tried most of these setups. they mostly just add latency to simple tasks. the context window is the only thing that actually moved the needle

Unpopular truth about AI coding: Everyone is pretending they’ve figured it out. They haven’t. Watch the pattern: → We copied from ChatGPT → Then we argued: chat vs agents → Then came “you are a senior developer” prompts → Then complex setups (MCP, tools, workflows) → Then planning modes → Now it’s “skills” Every phase was called “the best way”. Every phase got replaced. This field is moving too fast for any fixed playbook. So if someone sounds 100% certain about their workflow… That’s your signal they’re not. There is no final system yet. Only people learning in public. The advantage right now isn’t tools. It’s how fast you can unlearn and adapt.

the secret to productivity isn't adding. it's removing. I killed 5 tools, 3 automations, 2 dashboards last month. fewer tools, deeper context. everyone says "add AI to your workflow." I say remove everything that doesn't compound.

One common issue with personalization in all LLMs is how distracting memory seems to be for the models. A single question from 2 months ago about some topic can keep coming up as some kind of a deep interest of mine with undue mentions in perpetuity. Some kind of trying too hard.

To give you an idea of how bad the AI bot problem was getting I muted about 17,500 of them, then started blocking them recently, so another 3,000 99% bots So I blocked about 2.5% of my follower count and didn't even get close to stop AI replies either

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to welcome @benjitaylor to 𝕏, our new design lead. I met Benji six years ago when I invested in his app: it was one of the most well-designed products I'd encountered. I knew right away he was on track to become one of the best designers in the world. After 6 months of convincing, we're finally teaming up and building the greatest design team in the industry.
Benji Taylor@benjitaylor

I’m honoured to be joining 𝕏 to lead design. I believe this is the most important platform in the world, and I can’t think of a more exciting place to help shape the future. I’m looking forward to working closely with @elonmusk, @nikitabier, and the rest of the team. I’m grateful for the opportunity, humbled to be part of it, and can't wait to get started!

I’m now at the stage for @o8odigitalart that I need to feed it some data. As I mentioned before, input data on X and then output on a webpage. This means I need to input data by posting live on the timeline. Nothing like building in public!😅 So you will start to see me replying to or quoting posts and tagging @o8odigitalart. This is how you will get it to notice and process information about digital art. Each of my posts or replies will include why I think it’s relevant and also tag any artists that I think it relates to. If you are paying attention, feel free to join in the fun and help me feed my new system data. When there is enough data, then I’ll launch the website and you can see what it is producing.
Chikai@lifeofc

Making progress on @o8odigitalart. I had to do something cool with the logo.😎 You have to have fun while doing it right?😜 General thoughts on what I'm building: - I'm going to build in public, so you will see all the warts and bugs, but hopefully you will also see useful things blossom in real-time. - X will be tightly integrated into this. We all hang out here, there is so much information here, so might as well keep it here. Posting/replying/quoting on the timeline will be how you send data to @o8odigitalart. It also creates a nice flywheel of attention. - But that said, I want people to visit the website to consume what it creates. My hope is to foster a daily habit to visit the site each day. This will only happen if it creates enough value that it's worth your time. So input on X, output on website. - Be aware that I have several other projects going on in parallel (like ALWAYS HAS BEEN, minting now at alwayshasbeen.xyz/mint shameless plug!), so progress hopefully be steady but may have cycles of high and low activity. - Reminder that this is an experiment. The only way this actually provides value to artists and collectors is if it can gain and sustain momentum in a capital efficient way (both human time and money). This we can only know over time and honestly depends a lot on all of you, whether @o8odigitalart is good enough to warrant you spending time on it everyday. The other half is that it can't be a drain on resources, it has to be a net positive in the end, not a net negative. I'm going to do my best to quote tweet my last post, so you can dig through the entire history of this experiment. Call me out if I don't and I'll include it in a reply. Finally thanks for the interest so far!

AI code review is splitting into two categories. Fast tools that flag issues in seconds. And slower tools that review the entire codebase before saying anything. Speed is in this benchmark. Completely different rankings depending on which one you care about.
Martian@withmartian

We've been tracking AI code review tools across OSS, and a new category is emerging. We're calling it "Deep Review": → Standard AI review: PR-level, fast, human in the loop → Deep Review: repo-wide context, runs autonomously in the background 🧵👇
