Speaking in poor English, Islamic Regime representative refused call for UN session on Iran tomorrow: “There's no need for a special session, no critical situation that requires urgent addressing...” Just 20,000 massacred. What’s the big deal 🤷🏻‍♀️

@GavinNewsom We appreciate the acknowledgment, Governor Newsom. Silence is no longer an option—but neither is inaction. ➡️The Iranian people need sustained leadership, accountability, and real pressure for change.

California stands in solidarity with the people of Iran, who are confronting violent repression, mass internet and power shutdowns, and economic collapse imposed by a theocratic authoritarian regime. The scale and persistence of protests across Iran demand fundamental change after decades of state violence and denial of basic rights. In support of California’s Iranian community and in defense of universal human rights, we urge an immediate end to violence against civilians, the restoration of internet access, and respect for the Iranian people’s right to chart their own future.

You have any idea how fed up a people must be to go out unarmed and fight violent armed Islamists? The Iranians who are out tonight are lions.

Anyone who understands the Middle East knows this: the fall of the Iranian regime would be more consequential than the fall of the Berlin Wall, not because the Islamic Republic is a global power, but because it has been a central tool for China and Russia and a major engine of terrorism in the Middle East. Its collapse would rip out a core pillar of their influence and fundamentally change global power dynamics.

This is Tehran. Let that sink in. You are watching a revolution unfold live while the world’s media stays dead silent. Legacy media has become nothing more than a propaganda machine, because what news could possibly be bigger than this? @FoxNews @CNN x.com/Negaarsh/statu…

I have been waiting for this moment for Iran since I was six years old. I woke up night after night to the sound of bombing sirens. I watched missiles tear across the sky. I remember running hand in hand with my mother down into the basement, lighting candles, seeing fear reflected in people’s eyes. I cried myself to sleep from the pain of missing my father who had been forced to flee under threat of execution by Khomeini. Because he dared to help others escape to freedom. As a child of war, my drawings were not of playgrounds or dreams, but of airplanes and bombs. Now, forty-seven years later, I stand before the same monuments in Washington, D.C. that greeted us when we escaped to freedom in America. But more than 90 million of my brothers and sisters were not so lucky. They have lived for nearly fifty years in an occupied, open air prison. Their hopes and dreams have been snuffed out. Now they can’t take it anymore. Do you feel their yearning for freedom echoing through the streets of Iran? How could you not? Even as the media looks away. Even as they ignore this historic chance for liberation. Even as they chant for democracy, for a free Iran, for the return of Pahlavi to lead the path forward. Tonight, I cannot sleep. I pray that my childhood dreams finally come true, that we will welcome the Nowruz Persian New Year together again, in Tehran. Reunited. A free Iran, at peace with itself. At peace with Israel. At peace with America. At peace with the world. A free Iran will transform the world. Its liberation will send ripples across the planet. A free Iran will unleash the greatest peace and economic dividend the world has ever seen. What is happening in Iran right now is the most important story on Earth. The future of the world hangs in the balance. Do not look away. Do not look away. Offer your support in any way you can. However you can. Please repost news about Iranian people’s final fight for their freedom. Because the media will not. The Iranian people will never forget your courage, your kindness, and your solidarity.

🚨🇮🇷 Breaking scenes from Iran. Protesters are reportedly setting fire to the tomb of Khomeini, the founder of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. This is an extraordinary moment that highlights the intensity of the unrest. 🦁☀️
