Even at his public speaking events, he would just react to other people’s work on screen then add a laugh.

The VP, who has positioned himself as against the Iran War but supportive of the President, now has the chance to negotiate an end to the Iran War. Charlie was wrong about a lot of things. He was not Jesus. He was not perfect. In fact, he was anti-Trump at the beginning of 2016 and was backing Cruz behind the scenes before he switched sides.
So just because Charlie was against the US taking out Iran does not mean we needed to listen to him.
If he had been right about everything, Trump would never have become president in 2016, and Trump would have continued to be president in 2021.
