@SVPhillimore I was thinking about this - I can’t actually think that I’ve seen anyone doing their makeup in the ladies - certainly not recently, possibly ever. Admittedly I don’t hang around in bar/fancy restaurant toilets, but still - does anyone actually do their makeup in toilets now?

It is infuriating. Enraging. I have NEVER asked another woman to ‘help’ me with my make up in a toilet. No woman has ever asked me, but that’s less surprising. What does it even MEAN? Holding the mascara wand steady? These men have regressive and insulting fantasies about ‘being a woman’ and I am told I may not criticise or push back. Why? Why is that exactly? Why don’t my feelings matter?

@g1c2 @TheTransTroll Not quite - all cancers are rarer in younger people because the cells are better at ‘being themselves’ they haven’t been damaged as much so cancer happens less often. Damage accumulates over time.

@SkylightsC @TheTransTroll Sorry there is no set time for cancer to "appear".. they "occur" later in life because the tests are age specific.. e.g. a young woman under the age of 25 will NOT be offered a smear/cervical camcer test because she is "too young"

@g1c2 @TheTransTroll Smear tests don’t test cells unless you test positive for HPV anyway, and the original cohort of girls are pushing 40 now - all cases have fallen, i presume they just like the headline of 0 for under 25s

When I was younger, I didn't understand the stereotype that wives never want to have sex with their husbands because I as a female had a very high drive and desire for it. As I got older, I realized it is because womens' pleasure is not prioritized and most men just suck at sex.

@crocuspxlled This is the difference. I *wanted* to have sex, but the sex he was offering was painful (overly rough/without foreplay), at inconvenient times (middle of the night when I'm up at 5am), and never fulfilling for me - where's the appeal!

Because women would welcome that (also, I don't think there would be fuss - we've had male presenters/pundits for years, & just asked for equity)

@anne_hegerty I know its not the point you're making but there is an element of hypocrisy though E.g. One of the "lesser" World Cup games the other day had a female presenter and 2 of the 3 pundits were female. But if the Lionesses game had that much male representation, there'd be outrage
