@itsahooded4iron On the flip side, if they win the first four game, they get an extra unit of tournament revenue. Which is huge for smaller programs. Being a 16 and losing immediately to #1 seed gets them only 1 unit

So it's not even like UMBC or Howard made the NCAA tournament. What they earned by winning their conference tournament is the right to "play in" to the NCAA event and face a #1 seed two days later. Hideous way to treat a conference champion. Shameful.

@Aaron_Bracy @ESPNLunardi It’s really not that hard There is only a couple spots in doubt, your odds of getting it right are not astronomical. They are actually pretty good odds

Here’s how Joe Lunardi did with his final bracket compared to the actual bracket: FIELD:  68/68 AT-LARGE:  37/37 SEED (exact):  57/68 * SEED (+/- 1):  67/68 * * personal best(s) I know Joe is good at this, but that is just wild. 👏 @ESPNLunardi

Every tourney deserves a day of straight pandemonium with 4+ games. If that means it’s harder for the top teams so be it Ladder brackets punt anyone caring about your tourney until the semis, and any team that can win 3-4 games in a row is probably capable of an NCAA upset too
SBUnfurled@SBUnfurled

Ignoring the teams here and looking at the bracket in general, curious what A10 fans think about axing the Pillow Fight and using a 10-team ladder bracket. Four less games in total, top teams rewarded more. This is how the AAC's bracket is formatted now:

Tottenham would ideally like to keep, though relegation could make it difficult, could include: • Micky van de Ven • Dominic Solanke • Conor Gallagher • Mohammed Kudus • Xavi Simons • Archie Gray • Lucas Bergvall • James Maddison • Dejan Kulusevski As Per @Matt_Law_DT #THFC #COYS #SPURS #TOTTENHAM

Permanent standard time would mean giving up an hour of light after work for 9 months of the year, to get a little bit of extra light between 9 am and 10 am in the morning in winter, when you're at work anyway. Utter insanity. Permanent daylight saving time is the only option.

Fascinating @DavidPurdum: *Only 13 outright underdog wins in 2025 NCAAs -- tied for the fewest since 1985. * Ranked teams won the first 96 games against unranked teams this year *Only 29 small-conference teams beat teams from power conferences -- a 58.9% decrease from the 2021-22. espn.com/espn/betting/s…

Georgia Southern, the 10-seed in the Sunbelt, started playing in the round-robin tournament on Wednesday They’ve played five games in five days, and have made it to the championship A sixth win Monday would give them an automatic bid It would be one of the greatest Cinderella runs in conference tournament history #MarchMadness #GeorgiaSouthern

After the Nottingham Forest game, #THFC have a THREE WEEK break of no games. This means that by the time Spurs travel to Sunderland on April 12th, we could have: Romero, VDV, Udogie, Spence, Bergvall, Kudus, and potentially even Bentancur back. You would like to think we could pick up some more wins with all of them back. That three week break is absolutely crucial for our chances of survival…..🙏

@tsnmike I think it just boils to whether they are good enough. If you watch them, it’s hard to argue they are versus watching other teams. Unfortunately we don’t really know because of the schedule. Undefeated is impressive though.

Tottenham’s cry for help truly began during Ange’s second season, performances started to go down hill, inconsistency and an imbalanced squad. We finished lower in the table than expected, exposing the lack of quality this team has. The Europa League trophy covered up the cracks and did little to change the reality that the squad lacked the depth and quality needed. Two transfer windows gone and as usual we did not provide. This was coming, and I can’t believe I am now fearing in my lifetime as a Spurs fan that we are now in a relegation battle. Until the ownership changes, Tottenham will always fall short of the standards.

@SB8308715342770 Appreciate the ball? It’s just going to make these extremely technically limited players continue to take the ‘safe’ route and play sideways and backwards to not feel the wrath of the manager.

Training with the ball at a high level becomes a privilege. Tudor is like Conte, if you’re playing with no respect or care for the ball, then you run until you find appreciation for the ball again. Players don’t like to run, but they like the ball at their feet, I had coaches that made me run for a week. So that when sessions began around ball work, you appreciate the ball again like wow he is letting us play again. It’s a psychological basic that creates good habits, trust, respect! You don’t want to run each week do better it works for Conte..

This picture shows Charlton Athletic’s Valley in the 1980s compared to how it looks today. After Charlton were forced out in 1985 because of money problems and safety issues, the ground was left empty and slowly fell apart. For years it sat abandoned and overgrown, until a fan-led campaign finally brought the club back home in 1992. What you see now is a rebuilt stadium, a world away from the state it was left in during those uncertain years.

@MattNorlander Great story. But they’ve played nobody. I’ve watched about 10 of their games this season and the MAC is down right now. Not what it was 4 or 5 years ago. They’ll lose by double digits in March Madness to any mid level Big 10/12, SEC, ACC team they face.

Nick Tavistock thinks bringing back Poch will save the player exodus if Spurs stay up. They believe Poch will fix everything players will want to stay and they can attract top talent off that back of the Poch brand. I like Poch but trust me it will be an utter disaster, They will sell key players and replace with utter nonsense poch with no strong DOF is a complete waste of time and money!
