@UnearthedHQ How was that massive clock tower constructed? Not with the horse and cart tech demonstrated in this film.

This is the best depiction of Cathedral of St john the divine I can find - it shows all the underground levels completely open not buried over... and the giant spires far taller and more elaborate than we've ever seen them.😉

@UnearthedHQ Cant the age of these structures be calculated by the level of wear/erosion on the blocks - Id estimate somewhere are around 12k years ago when this was being used. Likely beneath an ancient protecive layer that is no longer intact.

They Moved Water Uphill 2,000 Years Ago… But How? Standing on a quiet hill in Patara, you might think you’re looking at nothing more than broken stones scattered across the landscape. But look closer… because this is no ordinary ruin. This is the mysterious Delikkemer Aqueduct—a structure that once carried water in a way that almost feels impossible. There are no tall arches here like you’d expect from Roman aqueducts. Instead, what lies before you is something far stranger… a massive stone pipeline. Yes—solid limestone blocks, each one carefully hollowed out by hand, then locked together so tightly they could hold pressurized water. No modern machines. No advanced tools. Just human skill, patience, and determination. But here’s where it gets even more unbelievable… This system didn’t simply carry water downhill. It pushed water across a deep valley using pressure—something known as a siphon system. Imagine ancient workers calculating slopes, carving stone, and assembling this giant puzzle… all to make water flow where nature said it shouldn’t. One mistake, and the entire system would fail. Yet it worked. Stand there long enough, and the silence begins to feel heavy. The wind whispers through the empty channels, almost like echoes from the past. You can almost picture the workers—covered in dust, chiseling stone under the burning sun—building something they knew would outlive them. Now, all that remains is a long, broken spine stretching across the hills. No water flows anymore. No voices remain. Just stone… and a question that lingers in the air: How did they do it so perfectly, so long ago? Because sometimes, the greatest mysteries aren’t buried underground… They’re hiding in plain sight.

Cave explorers have discovered an ancient staircase in abandoned caves in Turkey. The most interesting thing is that this staircase is about 4,500 years old, making it older than the Egyptian pyramids. Who knows who was responsible for its construction? ----------------------------------------- That's what the narrative says about it.🤔 👇 The staircase discovered in Turkey is part of the archaeological site of Göbekli Tepe (or similar sites like Karahan Tepe) and dates back to the Neolithic period (c. 9600–8200 BC), making it considerably older than the Egyptian pyramids. These monumental stone structures were likely built by hunter-gatherers, not settled farmers, revolutionizing previous historical accounts.

The bystander at the end 😭💀 A massive Met Police operation took place in Kilburn yesterday, completely clearing the streets of uninsured mopeds, illegal electric scooters, and modified e-bikes. They literally brought a massive flatbed truck to tow them all away! 🚨🛵 While a lot of Londoners are sick of e-bikes flying down the pavements, others think the police should be focusing their resources on bigger crimes. Do you agree with this crackdown, or should they be focusing elsewhere? Let us know your thoughts below!
