No single image of Starfield better illustrates how toothless, gutless, lacking in grit and texture than this one does. I made the mistake of visiting Neon late in my playthrough, excited about the idea of visiting a sleazy Cyberpunk planet. What I found was a clown show. There is something hollow and sad about the entirety of Starfield's worldbuilding and lore, that I can't even bring myself to be mad about - I'm just disappointed. This doesn't feel like a universe comprised of competing factions and people, it feels like a bunch of empty mannequins shooting at each other over nothing. Everything feels so dumbed down and family friendly. All the edges filed off to make everything palatable and bland. It's sad.

There's no arguing with them. Half of them are AI Activists now since regurgitating "AI bad" nets them more engagement than they've ever had in their lives, especially the ones who made bad art. The other half have absolutely no idea how anything works now and going forward and are completely cooked. "It's just AI, which I hate" People just now entering the workforce should probably pour fuel on the anti-AI fire and gatekeep the success. Encourage them to walk out on the job when the employer makes everyone use and AI integrated ticketing system all day. Take their escalations and use AI to resolve tougher cases and get promoted to Tier 2 and leave them in the dust. I've been encouraging game developers to be anti AI while I finish and launch my UE5 application that connects users directly to ChatGPT. Fuck it. If they're that slow pass them up.

When I was a kid we had 3 houses splitting a phone line. Inbound callers had to ring twice, hang up, then let it ring for my house to know to answer. 3 rings before hanging up was the next house. Once the phone was answered, the other two houses could pick up their phones and eavesdrop on you.

I just learned that house phones didn’t always have their own private number, and communities shared a “party line” ???

@james_xond I munch on vegetables like cucumber and carrot, spinach etc. all day and eat a roast or steak, some kind of protein once a day. I've never thought about why, but it does make sense. You'd munch on vegetation until you kill a rabbit or whatever back in the day.

Does anyone else think we aren’t designed to eat 3 meals per day??
