I’m seeing, yet again, this surge of hatred for the Boomer generation. I’m a late season Boomer, born in 1961; I’ve worked for nearly 50 years, have been in the same profession for 37 years, I’ve routinely worked 45-60 hours a week. I don’t get why we are so vilified.

@BlackBlessedLDS The phrase is "champing at the bit". Bits are literally designed to be "chomped" on, it goes in the horse's mouth. "champing" is when the horse pulls at the bit thus tugging the reins, it means they are too excited. And also, no, he does NOT look good.

HOT TAKE: Snape looks awesome! Now he HAS to do the character justice or all hell will break loose. People are chomping at the bit for it to fail #HarryPotter⚡️

@Nerdcognito Players should bring in a character concept, the DM gets to choose the specifics of the backstory.

We don't like to say "we told you so".. The 'No Backstory' trend proves some modern players are realizing what Classic Gaming knew all along: ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME AT THE TABLE WRITES THE STORY, NOT THE PLAYER. Backstory obsession is always a mistake. Gatekeeping is good!

@ElementasSeries I enjoy a good tome just like the rest of us, but there is nothing wrong with a short book either. It can be quite refreshing to read a quicky with zero bloat.

Someone found out my first book is 277 pages and said, "Books less than 300 aren't worth my time." I've read many fantastic reads that were less than 300 pages. How sad to miss out on good books because of a page count.

@heelvsbabyface If its our fault, then that means that Leftos listen to our YouTube opinions and ajust their watching habbits accordingly, which if I check my latest hate-comments, doesnt track at all.

Let's play this wankers game. Let's say that "right wing haters" didn't watch the show, where are all the "left wing lovers"? It could barely chart on Paramount+ own Top 10 never mind even thinking about Neilson. You want to play the blame game but even a lot of leftists found this show insufferable WANK. So cope harder.
Ahmed Baba@AhmedBaba_

Right-wing haters killed something that was objectively amazing. Starfleet Academy had one of the best first seasons of any Trek show. Period. These anti-woke losers would’ve had a stroke at Riker rizzing up non-binary aliens in TNG. Star Trek has always been progressive.

Brandon Sanderson on The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: "My end opinion of it was meh. I thought it was fairly mediocre. Some strong elements. Some very weak elements that I think are towing it down. And the good elements were mostly bungled, I felt. The big one for me is the Harfoots. The Harfoots, I feel, were just utterly bungled. ... In these last episodes there was a woman who comes to the guy in charge and says, ‘It’s time to execute them. Let’s take their wheels and make them die.’ Like what are you thinking? We do not need Hobbits talking about murdering other Hobbits. And this is our second time. It’s so baffling and then they only accept the Stranger in after he proves useful. There’s no big-heartedness to that. That is pure utilitarianism." Is he right?

@thelucentcomic Miles Teg is awesome! I've been saving Chapterhouse for a while because I don't want the journey to be over yet. But I'll have to read it before Dune 3 this year.

I recently visited a Walmart in Salt Lake, and not a single employee spoke English, no one could help me, and the entire store smelled of rotting produce. I searched for 20 minutes for the boardgame section, and it turns out they had moved it OUTSIDE, in the home and garden section. The boxes had all warped from the moisture. I was only able to find them in the first place because I found a single employee who spoke Spanish, which I am also fluent in. I'm never going back.
