One the biggest lessons I've learned in writing and social media is the fact there are so many other writers out there experiencing the same struggles and succeses as me. To know I'm not alone on this path really does help sometimes. Shout out to the fellow authors 👍

@hwjohnston7 I had to explain this many times to people. Writing isn’t a hobby. It’s my passion.

I have grown to dislike the word hobby. My writing has been referred to as a hobby because it doesn't pull in hundreds of dollars. I am writing books because it is my purpose. I want it to be a career. I am willing to spend months on a single manuscript. TV has been replaced by books. Writing isn't a hobby. It's my life.

Romance novels teach us that the love interest is obsessed with the MC's eye color. But after 11 years, my husband still has no idea what color my eyes are.

@SarahCEParker @ZB_Steele Fair, but it’s a favorite for me because it was my gateway read into becoming an avid reader, so I can’t talk smack on it.

@ElementasSeries @ZB_Steele If he ever gave us a conclusion to the series and the central mystery I would agree. I love that book, but as it stands, I would never name it as a favorite. It is a beginning that never received an end.

If you're limited to one, what's your favorite fantasy/sci-fi work of all time? Can be a single book, a trilogy, a series, etc etc, but you can only pick one
