@Hrundo1 @ProgressiveVic @DarializaforNY Bro Ukraine is being demolished with the current course, it's in full-blown demographic collapse. 20% of the country is occupied. You approach geopolitics like it's a fandom or video game. Cringe.

We have hundreds of volunteers ready and waiting to canvass and phonebank for you @DarializaforNY once we know where you stand on Ukraine. All you need to do is commit to fighting against both American AND Russian imperialism.

NY-13 congressional candidate @DarializaforNY has been silent on Ukraine while campaigning. Her website said she opposed all military aid until it was removed in February with no explanation. ❌Opposes military aid ❌Framed Russia as victim ❗️Future aid position unclear

@DylanBurns1776 You fell off so hard Dylan, I remember the elden days when you actually seemed like a burgeoning progressive leader, and yet you've killed your future on behalf of Ukraine.

@NWAprogressive @Variety The actors only worked for 26 days, and the lead actress made 20K just for that in addition to residuals from the gross. Sorry even if you want to make this arguement, this movie paid it's actors and staff quite while compared to contemporaries.

@Variety “Indie producers can make budget films if they underpay everyone” What is wrong with you?

Indie producers can still make movies like “Obsession” cheaply in the U.S. by shooting nonunion. The breakout horror hit filmed in L.A. for just $750,000, but as domestic production slows, IATSE has been pushing harder to “flip” nonunion projects — driving up costs. “The films I grew up making, for $500,000 or $1 million, the unions are really interested in having those be signatory projects,” producer David Kaplan says. @NWAprogressive @Variety Indie films don’t make any money. Like 99% of them lose money and it’s extremely rare for one of them to become a box office hit. So she got paid $20k regardless if the money didn’t make a dime (like almost all indie films) or made $300million.

@NWAprogressive @VAUDEVIL666 @primaljayxbt @Variety My guy, all the people came into it agreeing to do this though. Is it predatory for student directors to get their friends to help them for free? "Investors" most of these projects have barely any investors with large capital at all. This was an exception.

@VAUDEVIL666 @primaljayxbt @Variety This is childish thinking, people deserve to make more than a few thousand dollars when they make a $250M hit movie and no amount of mental gymnastics and defense of predatory business practices is going to make that untrue

@NWAprogressive @suffocationism @HRVApolitico @Variety /the union provides. Everyone who isn't established has no leverage at all in this scenario. It's good for people who just want work, but not so much if you want to make your passion project. If you let in the big unions, the big studios will follow because now you need cash.

@NWAprogressive @suffocationism @HRVApolitico @Variety /or else studios usually refuse to pay because they need some ownership of IP in at least a marketing and merchandise capacity. When you are indie and/or doing an original IP, you have nothing to offer IP wise. If you work studio, you are now stuck with only the minimum that/

"MOST PEOPLE DON'T VOTE. MOST PEOPLE DON'T VOTE BECAUSE THEY ARE TO THE LEFT OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY." -@BootsRiley spitting about the fact that many people on the left do not want to vote for a party like the Democratic Party, a party that is not truly oppositional.

@KevinFranzoni @OrganizerMemes No people just made that up, like how they manufactured the idea that Nick Rafter somehow had a racist burner and was fired from his job. No seriously there is no proof of any for this anywhere. They just pull things out of their asses.

Progressive group says a candidate stopped communicating with them after they were asked by staff about their views on Ukraine post-endorsement. The reaction online is to get angry at those who were ghosted for their standards and wanting the largest war on earth addressed.

Darializa literally put her life on the line visiting the West Bank and being on the right side of history before most of y'all even gave a fuck. Y'all should be ashamed of this fucking tweet and this accusation.

If opposing aid to israel is sufficient to demonstrate support for Palestine, shouldn't opposing aid to Russia be sufficient to demonstrate support for Ukraine? Why have differing standards based on race?
Progressive Victory@ProgressiveVic

@RefrmDemocracy @DarializaforNY We have limited capacity, and plenty of excellent candidates who need our help and have been vocal on both ethnic cleansings. If she does not indicate support for Ukraine, we will redirect those resources to Melat Kiros and Julie Gonzales.
