Hot Take To be a great controller player, you NEED to play MnK. Learning how to not crutch aim assist, while you have aim assist, is probably the most powerful skill any apex player can have. On MnK, one slight mistake in your positioning will get you killed. On MnK, you simply cannot rely on the consistency of your aim. You have to learn to be perfect in terms of positioning in fights. Hal & Lou are perfect examples of this. 2 MnK players that have become two of the greatest controller players, in very little time. So if you’re a controller player looking to get better at the game, 1h a day, hop on some mouse & keyboard. Your fighting IQ will sky rocket. I promise you that.
