You will harvest what you plant, so plant intentionally. Plant good habits, strong values, hard work, and wise decisions. YOU decide.

@postcrabcore No. Don’t want Tyson and Tate won’t make it to 10. If you can’t get Styles/Downs, then you pivot to Downs/Francis Mauigoa.

@damienwoody Dex went to a worse situation, now all the pressure’s on him. At least with the New York Giants, he had three legit pass rushers around him to help. All we really needed was John Harbaugh, to put it all together, he left a year too early.@Giants

@BobbySkinner_ At least someone here has some sense. People want to draft a WR who hasn’t been healthy for 3 straight seasons. Do they expect Tyson to suddenly stay healthy if the New York Giants take him, it’s ridiculous. With two top 10 picks, you draft the best, cleanest prospects. @Giants

I just want Caleb Downs with one of the Giants picks. Preferably paired with Francis Mauigoa or Sonny Styles but Downs is the one I know I want for sure.

@Connor_J_Hughes These guys are so stupid, it’s a shame. People really want to draft a WR who hasn’t stayed healthy for 3 straight seasons and expect him to deliver the kind of return you need from this Dex trade. At least take a consistent, durable player at No. 10. Goodness gracious. @Giants

The receiver debate in this year's draft is a fascinating one. Jordyn Tyson is the one with true WR1 potential, from talking to multiple high-ranking evaluators. The issue is, obviously, injuries. Carnell Tate is far safer, but ceiling is high-end WR2. That's not bad, but not usually one selected top-10. There is a "big gap," one told me, between Tate/Tyson, and whoever you feel WR 3 is.

#Giants star Dexter Lawrence is being traded to the #Bengals in a pre-Draft blockbuster that includes the No. 10 pick heading to the Giants, per me and @MikeGarafolo. NYG gets premium draft compensation, Cincy gets a lynchpin, while Sexy Dexy gets a new, big-money extension.

@CarlBanksGIII How much impact a position has on winning compared to others, and how hard it is to replace that impact. A player like Caleb Downs can play multiple positions at a high level. He can impact multiple positions with extreme high IQ, and talent. Most players can’t do it. @Giants

@CarlBanksGIII Experience matter. Styles struggled at safety as a freshman. As a sophomore, he moved to linebacker and still had issues, missing 19 tackles. He showed some progress his junior year, but on film you can tell he’s still not fully comfortable tackling as he adjusts to the position.

@JordanRaanan Bring back GVR and draft a rookie. It’s time to move on from this guard situation, it’s not happening. Then we can focus on LB, CB1, DT, and WR via draft. @Giants

G Aaron Stinnie is expected to re-sign with the Giants, per source. Not yet done but expected to happen. WR Ryan Miller and CB Nic Jones were exclusive rights free agents and recently tendered. Stinnie is a quality veteran in locker room. Respected. Miller brings size to WR position at 6-4, 221. Could be a good fit for Harbaugh. Jones played in 13 games, mostly special teams, for Giants last year.

Every new coach who comes to the Giants, think they can fix guys already here. We’ve heard that story for the past 10 years, and we all know how it ended. John Harbaugh might be in for a NFC EAST wake-up call. Sometimes the real solution is moving on and bringing in better players, don’t fight it. @Giants

Evan Neal signed for the minimum, Shaun. GVR has earned more than that, should be back and hopefully will be back for the Giants' sake. But Neal is back because he's back on the minimum and Harbaugh wants his staff to take a crack. If they can't, Neal won't be here.
Shaun Morash@ShaunMorash

Carmen Bricillo was the wizard of offensive line coaches. He could not fix Neal. I admire Harbaugh wanting to fix a former first rounder, I do, but this just looks bad optically to me. Greg Van Roten made it a point to BE AT Harbaugh’s intro presser, he remains unsigned still.

I don’t hate this at all. You don’t give up on talent, and maybe John Harbaugh and his staff can help bring some of that talent out for Evan Neal. Besides, it’s not like they named him a starter.. It surely is a one-year, low-risk contract. What’s the down side?
Ralph Vacchiano@RalphVacchiano

The Giants are bringing back OL Evan Neal. Neal was the 7th overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. He did not play at all last year and played in only 16 games the previous two seasons.

@JordanRaanan The only GMs & HC who understood the assignment of playing in the NFC EAST, was Ernie Accorsi / Jerry Reese / Tom Coughlin. All these other GMs & HCs come to the NFC EAST, and think they can half ass the roster with mediocre talent. These guys haven’t learned. @Giants

After speaking with sources Tuesday it became clear Giants pivoted and were no longer willing to pay a mid-tier guard. Unless that changes it eliminates the likelihood of signing a vet like Wyatt Teller, Joel Bitonio or Dylan Parham. In the meantime, they wait out that market.
