The population of Staten Island today is 500,000 and the NYPD has 630 officers patrolling it.
NYPD deployment on Staten Island is down 20% since 2022. This is a result of @ericadamsfornyc fulfilling his campaign promise of intentionally lowering the overall headcount of the NYPD.
@NYCMayor Zohran Mamdani apparently has the same racial and political disdain for NYCโs most conservative Boro. Staten Island is comprised of NYCโs most marginalized group, white Catholics.
When NYC officials talk about โWhiteโ neighborhoods they are speaking of many across Staten Island.
Staten Island isnโt the forgotten Boro, itโs intentionally left out Boro and most of the elected republican officials on the island are ok with it.
Itโs lucrative for these RINOs to play patty cake with NYโs radical Democrats so they can become a lobbyist or a commissioner for them after.
