I'm very glad this person is not her agent, since the majority of the movies she's been in since have been acclaimed, hits, or both, including the animated movies she's voiced. Even the things that didn't end up working out as well, you can see why she'd want to be in them.

It's genuinely baffling why THIS one is such a historical box office winner. No shade to the film - I hear its solid, even from people who usually dislike contemporary horror - but idk why it's lit the world on fire to this degree. Just weird!

Yeah, they aren't that different... except one is LITERALLY DIRECTED BY STEVEN SPIELBERG. You can't just ascribe the film to some theoretical "random director" and pretend all the technical virtuosity remains intact.

Neither Nikki nor Bear is a villain. There is no villain. It's just a sad, tragic story. And people can no longer differentiate between a flawed character and an evil person because they're incapable of processing things outside of the most black-or-white lens imaginable.
