The Home Depot by my house puts tens of thousands of dollars worth of plants right on the curb outside every day not monitored by any employee 24/7
I find it oddly satisfying that live plants are an item that people who commit thievery have absolutely zero interest in stealing
@Eric_Erins It’s convenient for the one off occasion I’m too bougie to go to sleep hungry, too bougie to cook..
But I’ve had oomfs order it multiple times a day, everyday..craziness!
I don’t understand how people get hooked on delivery apps. Everytime I think about ordering food delivery I get to the checkout and I’m like. Wait why am I doing this why am I spending $25 on a meal that’s not even worth $15
Costco has officially turned into Fort Knox, and the "Entrance Police" are taking their jobs very seriously.
We’ve all seen the videos of the new scanners at the door, but "Edward" here is on a different level. He’s catching people trying to sneak in on their mom's card like it’s a federal crime. He even claims he’s "Top Security" after six years on the job.
But here is the "Secret Loophole" the employees don't want you to know: In over 30 states, you do NOT need a membership to buy alcohol at Costco. State laws in places like Texas, California, and Ohio actually forbid "private clubs" from restricting liquor sales.
So while Edward is busy playing bouncer and checking IDs for a $1.50 hot dog, half the people walking past him could legally just say "I'm here for the Kirkland Vodka" and walk right in.
April 1, 1996. 320-lb umpire John McSherry suffers a massive heart attack and dies on the field, seven pitches into opening day in Cincinnati. The most horrific/heartbreaking thing I've ever seen in a sporting event. 😥
If you don't want to watch it, please don't watch it.
Last night, while driving south on Washington through downtown, my family witnessed the “teen takeover” forming near Rosebud that many of you have heard about. I know there’s a video circulating. Seeing it firsthand was unsettling. A squad car was already on site as the crowd began to grow.
We’re still waiting on a full report, but I understand arrests were made related to fights, and several trespassing citations were issued.
This problem isn’t unique to Naperville, but it is a real issue that impacts our businesses, residents, and overall sense of safety downtown. Our police department is working proactively to stay ahead of and deter this behavior, and I appreciate their efforts.
It’s also worth noting that under the Illinois SAFE-T Act, trespassing is generally a non-detainable offense. That limits a tool officers previously had to immediately address situations like this. While this isn’t something I can change at the city level, it does affect how these incidents can be handled in real time and last night is a clear example of that.
@ThatEricAlper Really? As a deaf person you pick the one job that requires speaking? Give me a break, definitely looking for bigger tips, handouts, and a pity party with that pathetic note.
PICK A DIFFERENT PROFESSION, SINCERELY ALL RESTAURANT GOERS.
I have lost my keys inside my car. Not locked, LOST.
To clarify:
My car turned on.
My car will only turn on if the keys are inside of it.
So they must be in the car.
Yet I cannot find my keys.
My car is not messy.
There is very little in it.
I’ve looked everywhere.
And yet, the keys are nowhere to be found.
But they have to be here.
Hence, I have lost my keys in my car.
What … and I cannot stress this enough … the f*ck?
If we are making guesses about the ballroom and “massive complex” being built by the US MIL, my guess is the old bunker/facility was compromised/bugged.
Hence the need to build a new one, and that would explain why the Dems/MSM are so salty about it, because they are losing an asset.
I’m not buying the idea that this is just some normal update to the White House. If so, why didn’t the Dems do it when Biden was in office? Why now? And if it’s just a normal update to the White House, why are the Dems so upset about it, and why have they expended so much ammunition on this supposedly routine remodeling?
There’s more to this story that we don’t know yet, and there’s a reason the Dems have been so triggered about this ballroom construction from the start.
Anything involving the US MIL, the Dems/MSM tend to squeal extra loud.
The same pole keeps getting hit over and over in front of these people’s house, you can even see it leaving when the truck hit it. If you look at the white line, the truck was in its lane.
The city then comes out and always puts it back right where it was only to be hit again instead of moving it back a little farther away from the road.
The city still hasn’t moved it back and doesn’t seem too interested in doing so even though it costs them thousands every time they need to replace it.
The homeowner does t pay for damages but loses power when it happens, what would you do if this was your home?
As ICE Agents were busy arresting an illegal alien, an 80-year-old liberal tried to impede and obstructed them. The result was him getting sent to the floor by an ICE agent.
What do you think, was this justified?
