The test is whether a complainant felt they were intimidated by current standards, not the intent of the person praying. Therefore, anyone who felt intimidated had a valid point.

Buffer zones don't ban prayer. They uphold the privacy of women having an abortion. If prayer was banned in public then no one could do it. Those getting upset about iftars in public seem to want to agree there's a 'time and place' for everything. Hyperbole and hypocrisy do not for reasoned debate make.

I mean, she did. Whatever her reasons she did do that. Creasy can’t then argue others having an issue with public prayer are more suspect than her. But some religions are more readily attacked by MPs than others & for some inexplicable reason that includes our state religion.

landed in Frankfurt today and they said due to “new immigration procedures” the border control lines would be very long. got there and they were the longest i’ve ever seen. went to get on line and a worker spotted me, somehow knew i wasn’t a tourist, and pulled me out of the dumbass american line and into the EU line of about 4 people bc i’m a resident god bless.

@PaulShack56 @BBCNews Whole point of the article is that normal things are becoming too expensive. A family should be able to afford a meal out. We hardly eat out now because I just don't want to spend £50 on 2 mains and 2 drinks. Starters £10 and £9 glass of wine. It's mental.

@BBCNews If they have the £174 Pizza Express meal once a month and instead made the same at home for £44 and put the saving of £130 per month into an ISA after 10 years they'd be sat on £20,000. 20 grand for implementing a slight change of behaviour.

@AdamPollock @NarcAware They can silently pray elsewhere, or they can walk through the area and pray. Actively choosing to stand in that spot to 'pray' is choosing to be visible/intimate people accessing health services. Intimidation is the issue, not the praying.

It’s not a ban on prayer. It’s a ban on protest and all the behaviours associated with wanting to invade the privacy of a woman having an abortion. I note this person still refuses to explain why being asked to pray 150m away to balance that right is somehow stopping prayer. Unless this isn’t about prayer at all.
