@Wantfreedom0
Sunk costs are not involved in major decisions. Fitness, tennis, skiing, travel, investing – life requires constant experimentation.

@JakeBlade14 @Rainmaker1973 I marvel at their history and culture, even though I have never been to China.

There is a railway museum in Kunming, it's an interesting place with an old industrial vibe to it. There is a exhibit chronicling the construction of a railway crossing a massive casm, I stood there completely amazed at how the Chinese have such difficult terrain to work with and they do it very well.

@readswithravi Physical books do indeed foster a greater sense of inner calm and focus while reading, whereas e-books are more convenient to carry when going out or traveling.
English

@blakeaburge I saw you say that in the comments section of another post yesterday it really stuck with me.

@astropics Summer Solstice always feels more meaningful when you think about it like this.
English

Today, June 21, marks the summer solstice, the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Right now, the Earth's axial tilt is perfectly angled toward the Sun, with the North Pole pointing directly at it. This gives us the maximum hours of daylight and the Sun's highest path across the sky.

Investing taught me something that applies far beyond money:
Being wrong is normal.
Staying wrong is expensive.
The goal isn't to avoid mistakes.
The goal is to recognize them quickly and adjust.
The same principle applies to careers, relationships, and life decisions.#BuildingFreedom

@OnyxOdds I don't know who is the best, but among the four, LeBron is the shortest; normalizing their heights would actually give him an advantage.
English

@MerlijnTrader Perhaps his words need to be interpreted in reverse.🙄

@BitcoinMagazine That’s a symbolic move—using bitcoin in a real-world purchase shows how digital currency is gradually shifting from theory to everyday use.

@dailystoic Becoming better isn’t a future decision it’s proven or denied by what you choose to do today

The worst periods of my life weren't caused by failure.
They were caused by indecision.
I kept waiting for certainty.
The perfect plan.
The perfect timing.
The perfect answer.
Eventually I learned:
Action creates clarity far more often than clarity creates action.#BuildingFreedom

@Non_kumarRgupt @Lovandfear That’s not it. The fact that he chose to side with your enemy simply shows that he didn't consider you a friend.
English

@Lovandfear It's my fault, my friend is with My enemy, because I failed to convince them to keep trusting on me, that's why they are believing on my enemy and with my enemy more than me. 😊
English

@blakeaburge That’s why making a plan is important; don’t just drift along aimlessly.
English

@LakersLead I didn't even panic when the 2020 Lakers were down by 30 points at halftime; their defense was in a league of its own back then, and the team atmosphere was incredible.
English

@the_stoic_cult I agree.
But I also think environment and mindset aren't substitutes—they're multipliers.
A strong mind can resist a bad environment.
A great environment can accelerate a strong mind.
The ideal situation is to build both.
English

@Wantfreedom0 While external influences shape perception true progress requires disciplining the mind to remain steadfast regardless of circumstance
English

I used to think motivation was the key to growth.
Now I think environment matters more.
The people around you shape what's normal.
What's possible.
What's worth pursuing.
Spend enough time around ambitious people and your goals expand.
Spend enough time around people who settle, and your standards quietly shrink.
Most of us underestimate how much our environment influences our future.
Sometimes changing your surroundings is the fastest way to change your life.#BuildingFreedom.

@Bronupdates These idiots truly are annoying. They act as if they went undefeated the entire season. Thanks to the refs, they won (like every LeBron team). They need to stop acting as if they are a historic team.
English

@c4men @MaskedInLA I cannot understand tearing the team down and rebuilding after winning the championship.
English

@Wantfreedom0 @MaskedInLA Close. But we really didn't get to see as much of that team because of all the COVID stuff.
