Over 1,000 companies have filed for reimbursement. The refunds are flowing. But not to the families who paid them. In February, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that Trump exceeded his authority when he imposed sweeping tariffs under emergency powers. The tariffs collected over $130 billion from importers. Yale Budget Lab analysis: the average American household paid $1,751 in higher prices last year because of those tariffs. In February, Gov. Gavin Newsom called on the Trump administration to refund every household. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul did the same. Three months later, $35 billion is flowing to corporations. Zero is flowing to families. The companies that passed the cost on to consumers are being made whole. The consumers are not. Where is the household refund?

I think we just wanted to see what they were working with so we could develop new defensive and offensive capabilities to combat in the changing landscape of war. These other countries are getting experience in the arena of low cost warfare, we need some of that experience too because Russia, Ukraine, China and North Korea are getting it in. It is, there is a guy who works with me, he is 67. He has met almost every famous person that was alive in the past 2-3 generations of popular culture and he also has a photo of himself with Trump. All he does is talk about about how terrible Trump is while verbally supporting anything Islamic nations do. He talks so much about Trump that he lost his voice recently and had to STFU. It’s amazing, politics should not bother someone this much. He is much older than I, it is astonishing he has lived this long and still hasn’t learned how things work with the American regime and his arguments are all framed through the lens of racism. It’s just crazy, I tend to avoid conversations now about politics with him.

Everyone seems to forget the office of president is temporary. Changes every 4 years, and that is the wonderful thing about our country. Everyone gets a turn to go, everyone gets a chance to express their views. There is no reason to get bent out of shape, just maneuver into the best position we can to be until change happens and this how you teach navigating markets. Unfortunately, the way things are between us all, some really do want to see a one party domination and that, simply put, is as about as un-American as it gets.

There is nothing like landing in a country solo and finding our way around, messing around with the locals and having some good experiences without the pressure of following an itinerary which girls like to use to make their day feel productive, then arrive home exhausted. We figure it out as we go. I can get around Yunnan China without the help of my woman, landed in Japan without any info and had a great time, took my xbox and play COD on Japanese severs, and then departed the country with the contact of a really cute and effervescent woman. Figuring out Jakarta was a cinch. Trust me, we’re good.
