By attempting to ban the clinical trial of puberty blockers, TERFs have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they're not interested in protecting kids. They just want to force an agenda. Every form of healthcare was once a clinical trial. It's how medical science evolves.

@PuckSlop Funny how women have been telling you we don’t want you in our changing rooms for years and you’ve been saying ‘I don’t care’ yet one man says it and your response is ‘oh, don’t want to make you uncomfortable I’ll use the women’s then’. Almost like misogyny isn’t it?

@AvaLovelaceX Lots of men are at risk of being raped in male prisons. Gay men, effeminate men, pretty men, young men, small men. Should all of those be moved to female prisons too? Are female prisons just a safe space for men?

@gusvattes @Suzzy0310 So if the courts allowed access why didn’t you keep going back? Why didn’t you fight for them? That’s what me, and your children will be thinking. Their mother told some lies so you gave up? And what did you go to jail for, divorce doesn’t usually end up in jail??

I would like to add something to this post for me as the father of 2 kids that are now 24 & 26. I was supporting them with $3500 per month and they still go around telling people I know that I was never there for them. I also paid for half of their college tuition on top of that money. I have no access to them even though the courts allowed access. We got divorced when they were young teenagers and their mother did everything to make me appear to be a monster. So they want nothing to do with me. It became their religion. To this day I have no way to email, text or call them. I have tried many times. So has their uncle, aunt and grandma. My anger is infinite but I let them be. Their mother stole their childhood and much of their young adulthood with their father. Divorce is awful but it didn’t need to get this putrid. I was put in a jail and lost a lifetime of time for having to go through that divorce but I couldn’t spend a single moment more with that horrible woman.

My dad paid $800/month child support. I only saw $20 of it. 18 years. 12 checks a year. Mom said “Your dad never helped.” Dad said “I send money every month.” I believed Mom. Kids do. Turned 18. Found his bank statements in a box. Line after line:

“CHILD SUPPORT - $800” 52 quarters. $41,600 total. I did the math at 2am and couldn’t breathe. Called him. “Why didn’t you fight for me?” He said “I did. Every month. With my paycheck.” Said “Courts don’t let you buy time, son. Only groceries.” That week I saw the rent. The light bill. Saw shoes I outgrew in 3 months. Saw Mom working double shifts. $800 wasn’t disappearing. It was becoming me. He never missed a payment. Missed every birthday. Every game. Because the court gave him visitation. But not a key to our house. Child support isn’t an allowance. It’s rent for the childhood you can’t be there for. It’s apology money. It’s “I’m sorry” with 4 zeros. Dad, if you’re reading this: I see it now. The checks weren’t to Mom. They were to the kid you couldn’t raise.

Dear Janet I am so sorry to hear that you, like so many women, including my late mother, have breast cancer. An article on that would have been valuable. But what you have chosen to do is to use that experience to attack an unrelated group of people. You would have loved to keep your breasts. For transgender men, they are like a cancer that requires removal also. You also fail in three other areas. 1) The Cass Review has been internationally discredited, so its use doesn't really help your credibility in the space you have entered. 2) The number of breast procedures relating to transgender men is minuscule compared to the number of women who have significant breast reductions or enlargements. That, however, isn't on your agenda. That also doesn't go to your credibility. 3) What I am out makes with gynecomastia and require breast reduction surgery, is that not allowed? Depending on the data sets, it is suggested that there is a roughly 4:1 to 8:1 range, depending on which comparison you use, with more gynecomastia surgeries than gender-affirming top surgeries. I would never deny a man gynecomastia surgery, just as I wouldn't deny a transgender man the same. Again, ignoring this reality does your credibility no good. I suspect you could be an incredible resource for women with breast cancer, and may I suggest that is the best lane for you to remain in. Kind regards.
Janet Murray@jan_murray

When did the removal of healthy breasts become something to celebrate? It’s a question I began to ask after my own experience of breast cancer. Last year, the prospect of losing a breast made me realise just how attached I was to a part of my body I’d barely thought about before. I still live with the after-effects of surgery. “Top surgery” and “double mastectomy” both involve the removal of breast tissue. Yet one is presented as empowering, while the other is associated with fear, grief and loss. My latest for @spiked. Link in the comments below 👇

@702ValetParker Most women have uteruses. No men have uteruses. Women who have had their uterus removed are still women, men who take hormones that hurt their tummy are not. Quite simple really.

I regret to inform you that reproductive biology is slightly more complicated than the Fisher Price version of science you seem to be operating with. Women can be born without uteruses. Women can lose uteruses to cancer. Women can have hysterectomies. Women can stop menstruating decades before death. A uterus is an organ, not a philosophical litmus test for womanhood. Plenty of women do not menstruate. Plenty never could. Who knew biological science was being rewritten by people whose understanding peaked in middle school health class.
Riley Gaines@Riley_Gaines_

If you don’t have a uterus, you cannot have a period. The fact this even has to be seriously said is a condemnation of humanity.

@daniellismore You don’t get to decide whether you walk through a female only door, the law does. Same as I can’t decide to just walk through a school door and be a child if I want to. Schools are for children. Female only spaces are for females. It’s really simple.

The EHRC guidance does not account for people like me. It was not written for the full reality of how human beings actually exist in the world. It was written for a simplified version of humanity that does not reflect what venue staff encounter every single night. I choose to use the men’s bathroom. That is my decision. My body. My choice and venue staff keep trying to override it. Deciding for me. As if the entire point of the guidance was to hand that power to a loo attendant. Here is what actually happens. Men walk straight back out of the men’s bathroom when they see me. Some check the sign. See it says men. Walk into the women’s anyway. Then some of those same men find me at the bar later behind their wives back. So let me be clear about what this guidance has actually produced @bphillipsonMP @EHRC @Keir_Starmer @UKLabour You wrote guidance designed to bring ‘clarity’. And to ruin trans peoples lives. It is creating chaos in real time every single night. You tried to tell people which door to use. The doors are not working the way you imagined. I decide which door I walk through. Not you. Not a loo attendant. Not a Supreme Court ruling. Me. And that is the point your guidance completely missed.

As a gay man, I say: you did this - you, the far-Left LGBTIAQ+ activists with your grotesque parades, your absurd 'pronouns', your men in women's spaces and your drag queen storytimes. You did this. You pushed and pushed the boundaries of power to see what you could get away with, using the 'cause' as a testudo: criticise us and you're a 'homophobe', 'transphobe', etc. You used us, the 'normie' gays as a cause, to radicalise and militarise, whilst weaponising speech, with what others can and cannot say - and now you're surprised that there's kick-back? Oh, sure, you'll now use that as: "See? See? Look at all the homophobia and transphobia! We told you!" but it was you that caused the homophobia and transphobia with your ridiculous power moves for 5% of the population. We asked for equality. We got that. We asked for Same-Sex Marriage. We got that. But you wouldn't stop there. Emboldened by the generosity of those who, in many countries, voted for or supported the latter, you wanted to see how much further you could go. You poked the bear. The bear didn't react. But you kept poking and finally the bear reacted. And now we're in a position where the bear recognises you every time and will swipe back. You did this.

@whooith Yeah you have the same symptoms but in women it’s called period pain and in men it’s called stomach cramps. Like men when men vomit they don’t have ‘pregnancy symptoms’. Men don’t get period pains because they don’t have periods, even if their stomach hurts.

@Jacqkelly One of my friend’s parents was jailed for abusing them when they were children. I shared spaces with them when I was a kid, had sleepovers there too. Nothing bad ever happened to me. How does my experience change theirs? It doesn’t. It has no relevance at all.

The world has 195 recognised countries. 64 of them id go to prison or be killed for being gay. That’s 32% of the world where it’s illegal and punishable by death for being who I am. So talk to me about why we shouldn’t have pride.

@KaskaJessica The other woman is telling her to stop filming in the changing rooms though, she’s not saying she’s a man. And this is not the ‘gotcha’ moment where we say ‘oh darn we should have let any man into our spaces so the odd woman doesn’t get misgendered’.

She also says some extremely unpleasant things about trans women which of course are not true.
