@HLC_actual I feel like the real answer is simple supply and demand. With the strait closed the supply shrinks. The oil that went through it went to other countries who still need it. Other countries offer to buy it from the US for more than they can make locally. Exports go up

OPEC. That’s why. See they “stabilize” the global oil market. They tell countries to produce more or less or export more or less. This is supposed to keep countries that are importers from having massive costs of fuel. However opec cares more about investors and profits so what they do is tell some countries to produce more to assist when the global chain is interrupted but now that things change its costs more $$ to get the oil where it needs to go therefore they raise the global price of oil however when everything goes back they never bring the price back down therefore increasing overall profits. This is why opec is commonly referred to as the global oil cartel. Feels like I need to say this too. I am not suicidal

Why is the U.S. exporting record levels of oil if I’m still paying 50% more at the pumps? Make it make sense.

I try not to be divisive but yall come the fuck on. “The right is so violent” President Obama served for 8 years and had 1 attempt on his life (kind of a stretch but 2011 a looney toon fired at the White House) President Trump 4.5 years so far and 3 actual shooters. Important to note both have had dozens of verbal or written threats but what the fuck are we doing? Both sides talk shit and make statements about what the other side is doing but it’s pretty clear only one side is getting radicalized to the point they want to murder someone.

🚨#BREAKING: Photos just posted by Donald Trump appear to show the suspect identified as Cole Thomas Allen, a 31-year-old teacher from California on the ground surrounded by law enforcement officers at the Washington Hilton following the shooting at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

It depends. The FBI, even during the first Trump administration, classed Far-Right Extremism as the highest domestic terror threat in the United States and the data reflects it. The Buffalo shooting, Tree of Life Synagouge, The Charleston Church shooting. The murder of Melissa Hortman in Minnesota. The radicalisation of both wings of politics is a direct result of economic decline and political polarisation. Saying "One side is clearly more violent" is just not the case. The reason why we are seeing Left-Wing violence escalate is that the material conditions of American society are deteriorating during a populist-right wing presidency. If this war in Iran, the economic turmoil, the escalation of political polarisation in all aspects of society took place during a Harris or Biden administration instead. We'd be seeing the same thing.

I was recently informed of Mrs. Katy Stout’s recent health complications, and I wish her a very speedy recovery. We may be on opposite sides of the aisle, but she is my opponent, not my enemy. She and her family are in my prayers, and I genuinely hope she gets well soon.

@hottea2026 @Osinttechnical Under Trump, we aren't providing intel about Russia anymore, but Russia is providing intel about us. What's "pretty obvious" is that you aren't keeping up.

I’m cautious about this. There are reports a damaged f35 landed in the Middle East. However at this time CENTCOM has not stated that it was from enemy fire. A couple of red flags in the video. 1. No countermeasures deployed. 2. Video cuts almost immediately after “impact”. If Iran hit they would immediately publish the full video as proof. 3. Any pieces or parts that came off would be shared like wildfire on so I’ll media. 4. If you pay attention and the last frame shows the aircraft being cold post impact. Could be a lens issue as well. The thing doesn’t feel right overall.

To my understanding this is a guy who is always shown as an asshole who exploits his daughter. Why are people so upset over a jackass being kinda weird while saying pretty innocuous things that over half the global population agrees with.

If an 18-year-old kid has extremely strong opinions on Israel and foreign policy, something’s wrong there. That’s not an opinion earned through years of learning and life experience. It’s the result of a kid spending hours on his phone, being conditioned by an algorithm.
