@NUFCEdge @AngelNufc But if it wasnt for PSR he would have had his number 1 targets like Pedro, Cunha, Ekitike etc? All because of wages.... For what its worth i think Ramsey is and will prove to be a great buy. Elanga im hopeful but after all the strikers went elsewhere it was slim pickings

@AngelNufc He definitely isn’t the problem but he’s complicit in many ways. PSR didn’t force him to waste money on the shite we wasted money on in the summer, for example.

Howe isn’t the problem. We’ve got the 8th highest wage bill, anything above that is overachieving. The squad is thin, facilities lag behind, and PSR limits us. He’s taken this group as far as it can go, now it needs a clearout. Too many players aren’t at the level we need #NUFC

This Sunday's Tyne-Wear derby is a fascinating one. Newcastle are obviously the favourites. Not only are they at home, but only 5 sides have taken more than their 9 points in the last 6 games, only Forest (3) and Spurs (1) have taken fewer than Sunderland's 4. Sunderland currently have 10 players that are missing or a doubt for this weekend, the most in the Premier League, including Reinildo, Mukiele, Roefs, Le Fee and Ballard. Newcastle though have had a midweek trip to Barcelona and conceded 7... I think there's a chance they play with a fury of a side that simply can't afford to go 11 games without a Premier League win against Sunderland, with 7 defeats in that time. Newcastle favourites, but I can't wait!

If we can get £200m+ for Gordon, Livramento and Tonali, then I don’t think it would be catastrophic. All obviously good players, but all have their limitations and could be replaced with similar ability for less.. if we’re clever.

@ben_NUFC_ @StevieG_0918 Why would we sack a proven manager for an unknown. Graham Potter, Thomas Frank, Nuno - To name a few who over achieved at lesser clubs and failed at bigger ones. Surely if the Saudis genuinely want him gone they aim for higher? But without unlimited funds whats the point?

He’s over performed with a Bournemouth side who don’t spend much money whilst also playing an entertaining brand of football. He’s not perfect but nor was Howe before we appointed him. If we do sack Howe, why not look at Ireola?
