Activists attempt to save Beagles. Animal rights activists broke into Ridglan Farms, a Beagle breeding facility near Madison, WI, on March 15, 2026. About 50-60 entered by cutting fences and forcing entry, removed 23 beagles (bred for biomedical research), and took them to safety. 27 activists were arrested for trespassing/burglary; most released pending charges. The farm plans to press charges and says the action was criminal.

🚨BREAKING: An Afghan translator, who fought alongside the U.S. military, saving countless U.S. soldiers for years, just died in ICE custody… less than 24 hours after being detained. And the first question everyone should be asking is… Why was he arrested at all? Mohommad Nazeer Paktyawal, a 41-year-old former Afghan special forces soldier, who worked with U.S. Army special forces since 2005, was living in Texas, with his wife and six children, while his asylum case was still pending. He had been evacuated to the United States, with his family, after the Taliban takeover under the program meant to protect Afghan allies who helped American troops during the 20-year war. And yet, on Friday morning, federal agents arrested him, outside his apartment, while he was taking his children to school. And by Saturday he was dead. Less than a day after the government took custody of him. ICE claims that while eating breakfast his tongue suddenly swelled, prompting a medical emergency before he was declared dead. But advocates, working with the family, say he had already been taken to a hospital the night of his arrest, and was reportedly alive the following morning… before suddenly dying shortly after. An otherwise healthy 41-year-old man dead within hours of detention. The U.S. government asked Afghan soldiers, like Paktyawal, to risk their lives fighting America’s war. He did. Then, years later, they trafficked him to fill detention quotas… Six kids just lost their father… including an 18-month-old baby. This is the ugly truth about how the government treats the people who help fight their wars. When they need you, you’re an ally… a hero. When the war is over… you’re disposable. How many more innocent people have to die before we admit this system isn’t about safety… it’s about profit.
