The problem with going too far with "grounded" skins, is that I have a hard time believing people would spend $20-30 on these.
As skins you unlock for free or pre-order bonuses they are great! But I don't think the WHOLE game will make a ton of MTX revenue if they stay with JUST this style.
We'll see though.

My problem is that it’s just so artificial and is used to set a pacing standard that kinda punishes players ultimately.
A) 2 different sprint speeds (normal sprint and tac sprint) and an entire fatigue system tied to tac sprint
B) 1 sprint speed (normal sprint) no fatigue system or tac sprint
I’ll take B 10x over because it’s consistent, slightly slower than when tac sprinting (which is what IW wants anyways) and I can get my gun up quicker into gunfights.

Peace to all 3 CoD dev studios for one thing:
CoD campaigns are still a technical craft.
If making a compact, cinematic, highly polished 6-8 hour blockbuster campaign was easy, the market would’ve copied it by now.
Accessible, replayable and almost unmatched in gaming.

You can have collabs in Modern Warfare 4, but copy what you did with MWII by putting them in actual military gear.

It seems to me from the previews we’ve seen of some of the MW4 maps that they’re sticking with the MWII design philosophy rather than MW19.
MWII maps were still campy but nowhere near as bad as MW19, and I’m not really too worried now they’ve confirmed Ninja & Red Dots.

at 16 there are maps you end up not seeing for entire play sessions.
They are adding 2 more before season 1.
