I was waiting for the coldest, misty and dreary day to go to Multnomah Falls. I used a slow shutter and hoped for the best.

I think it's that the plain ceiling is too big a contrast with the walls and moulding around the doors. The walls give an old world vibe, but the ceiling is too simple and modern. A craftsmen style coffered ceiling would work great, or a simpler paint on the walls combined with craftsmen period artwork to bridge the traditional and modern.

As of now I have not received a message from any Guild member saying that they "saw Animal Farm and voted for it." I have seen that people saw some of it, up to 30 minutes and didn't vote for it. I have not been able to confirm WHEN this movie/preview was seen. I have seen some people say they were simply asked to vote on whether or not they would like to see a movie about Animal Farm, but no details on the specifics. Which of course what conservative wouldn't say yes to that? The most reasonable explanation was that releasing Animal Farm was a contractual requirement to get Andy Serkis to star in Angel's Young Washington. Serkis spent 14 years trying to get this pig slop made. So this makes the most sense. But if that is true, the Guild had no power at all to reject it, unless there was a contractual clause that required The Guild to vote in favor beforehand which seems unlikely Serkis would agree to that. But it could be true. I hope a lot of these questions will be discussed on Tim Pool's show.

@matthewdmarsden Agreed. I thought it was horrible when "The Book of Mormon" musical came out. Not my faith, but not mine to bag on either. It was a test to see how tolerant we are about making money while dragging religious people.

I keep telling you guys about the attacks on the Catholic faith. If other Christians do not see that it is an attack on them as well, I don’t know what to tell you. Think about all the people who had to sign off on this. And yet conservatives cannot raise a couple of million to make a movie and “ conservative” studios do not hire conservative actors.

@Architectolder Once I saw the vines were eating the house, it's obvious someone did not put in the effort to maintain. Never grow a self-anchoring vine without the dedication to trim it. I had a climbing fig on an isolated part of a house for years with no problems, because we kept it trimmed.

We are not a unanimous climber crowd, but I think remove won the battle

During the Falklands war, the US was prepared to "loan" the USS Iwo Jima to England, complete with a "merchant marine" crew. Ask us how willing we are to loan them a carrier now. I didn't want it to come to this point either but, man.
