@GloriousEggroll Honestly, I wish they would have delayed it until prices came down. It's a tough sell currently, especially when people already own consoles that they bought when the price was still good.

I don't think paying $1k for a 1440p capable gaming PC is out of touch with reality at all. I think that's about average for decent components with a warranty. Sure, it could use a $100-$200 drop, I agree there, but again only because of current ram and ssd prices.

People inherit old beliefs, media stereotypes, and “what will people say” culture. But family should mean unconditional - blood doesn’t come with a shade chart. Change happens one honest conversation at a time. Those parents are missing the purest joy for a reason they’ll regret. How are you feeling after reading that story?
