Congratulations to Albert Yao Kudakpo and Dorvi Ignatus Nunana from @WACCBIP_UG and their team for winning the AMR Impact Award at the 2025 Vivli AMR Surveillance Data Challenge. The team earned international recognition at the 2025 Vivli Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Surveillance Data Challenge, winning the AMR Impact Award for their outstanding contribution to global efforts addressing antimicrobial resistance. #CARTA is participating in the Peer Learning for Emerging Researchers’ Knowledge and Advancement (PERKA) II Stakeholders Convening underway in Nairobi from October 6 – 9, 2025. The convening brings together partners to co-create a shared vision and actionable strategies for strengthening and sustaining support for Early Career Researchers across Africa. Opening remarks were delivered by #IamAPHRC’s Director of Program, Synergy, @amveyange, who underscored @aphrc’s mission to transform lives through research, and its three pillars—evidence generation, capacity strengthening, and policy engagement. At the meeting, #CARTA shared insights and lessons learned from the program’s work in strengthening postgraduate training, research leadership, and institutional capacity.
