I've been obsessed with the vast and untapped potential of civilian nuclear power at sea forever. I'm now the Chief Nuclear Officer at an exciting new company bringing nuclear power to maritime applications. Should computer science and basic coding still be taught in schools at all?

In my interview with the President of @MIT, Sally Kornbluth, she asked "I am not sure how much you need to have in your head to think creatively versus how much you have to offload"
One of the biggest concerns I hear from CEOs & engineering leaders:
Junior devs whoโve never studied or wrestled with great code are skipping straight to letting AI write it for them.
If this continues, in 10 years weโll have very few engineers left who actually know how to think through it.

@A10TheHog Big Air Force has never liked the CAS mission, especially since the Army โduplicatedโ the capability with attack helicopters and other systems.

If so much effort has been poured into the B-52 to extend its life, even though we have other airframes that can do a similar job, then the A-10 (which is the ONLY one that can do what it does) should get fairer treatment.

My dad at the ripe old age of 21.
He was trained by the master gear cutters at Lamont Gear, learning how to setup and run every machine on the floor.
Two bits of trivia:
- That Liebherr hobber had just been purchased directly from a trade show
- The big gear being cut is actually a cast iron center section with steel bands fitted to the OD (you can see this on the big blank sitting on the ground to the right of the machine)

Take 1min 45 sec out of your day and check out this video!! Super proud Dad moment. The KRIV Iridium is hosted by my son, and the HC610 has been sitting on the bottom rail since he moved in. With @ElbaSatGuy and @cemaxecuter big jump in position decoding, I asked him to mount it on the top rail. This is the process he took for #avgeek and #osint Totally knocked it out of the park! Huge jump in range.
