Even in 2026, Dalits need a legal battle to enter a temple?
A Dalit couple in Bengaluru had to fight a two-year court case against caste-based discrimination just to step inside the Basaveshwara Temple.
Today they finally entered… under police protection.
Look at the photo: flowers, police escort, heavy hearts. This is not 1950. This is 2026.
When will temples truly belong to everyone? When will the Constitution’s promise of equality stop being a courtroom battle?
Caste has no place in a place of worship. Full stop.

Noelia Castillo Ramos was euthanised yesterday at around 6 p.m. local time at Hospital Residencia Sant Camil near Barcelona.
In 2022, Noelia was placed in a state institution amid family difficulties.
There, she was gang-raped by a group of North African migrants.
The trauma broke Noelia.
Months later, she attempted suicide by jumping from the fifth floor of a building. She survived the fall but was left paralysed.
Instead of offering long-term support, the Spanish authorities offered assisted suicide as a solution.
Yesterday, despite a large group of people showing up at the hospital to support her, Noelia sadly decided to end her life.
Her rapists were never arrested and remain free men today.
RIP Noelia. We will not forget you. 💔

Horrifying. These are the clothes of a Swedish girl who was raped for hours at gunpoint by Syrian migrants.
She suffered a severe vaginal rupture and feared she was bleeding to death.
Court documents revealed the wound was likely caused by a gun being forced into her vagina. Doctors said they had never seen anything like it.
