A job doesn’t exist to guarantee a certain lifestyle. A job exists because someone values the work enough to pay for it. If ringing up coffee produced enough value to cover rent, groceries, and bills anywhere, it would pay that much without anyone demanding it. Income follows productivity and value created, not the moral declaration that every job “should” fund a certain life. When people try to force that outcome, the usual result isn’t higher prosperity. It’s fewer jobs, higher prices, or both.

I see there's a piece in the Telegraph today attacking Restore Britain for our halal slaughter ban. Usual lines, usual insults. Don't care. I really want to be clear here. For too long, these debates have been suppressed because people are afraid of being called unpleasant names. I am entirely uninterested in all of that. Restore Britain is going to tell the truth. Halal and kosher slaughter is vile. Barbaric. Un-British. Both must be banned. The animal's throat is sliced whilst fully conscious, and it bleeds to death in the most unimaginable pain. I don't particularly care if people get offended. This is Britain, and we do things our way. We treat our animals with care and dignity. Obviously Starmer won't ban halal slaughter, neither will Farage or the Tories. Restore Britain will.

Oof, just saw someone I admire use the "executed in the street" line about the guy who brought a gun to an incredibly volatile and stressful situation, interfered with a police arrest, resisted arrest himself, and then got shot. Scary how easily these groups can manipulate.

@lefebvre_s87394 @theWellRedMage Idk about easy for beginners, but in Wooden Ocean the block button is quite useful, pulling aggro while increasing defence. In Fear and Hunger, while the game has really mature subject matter and the combat is hard, the block button saves you from multiple one hit kill attacks.
