A new wave of targeting Muslims- not the paan vendor or street hawker this time, but the educated, skilled, employed. The aim is clear: make even the few who’ve secured jobs in this majoritarian system unemployable.

A 71-year-old widow in Jaipur got a call from "her bank." "Ma'am, your account has been compromised. Please share your OTP to secure it." She shared it. ₹3.8 lakh — her entire savings — gone in 4 minutes. She went to the bank branch the next morning. The manager said: you shared the OTP. We are not responsible. She went home. She stopped eating properly. Her son said she kept saying "maine galti ki" — I made a mistake. She filed a complaint anyway. The Banking Ombudsman ruled: the bank's fraud detection system had failed. A transaction of this size, pattern and speed should have triggered an automatic alert. It didn't. Bank ordered to refund ₹3.8 lakh in full. She didn't make a mistake. The bank's system did. A 71-year-old woman blamed herself for 8 months. A court told her she was wrong to do so. Save this post. If you lose money to a phone fraud — file with your bank in writing within 3 days. Then file with the Banking Ombudsman at bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in. The bank's liability doesn't end just because you shared an OTP.

84 months is 7 years. For every one of those years, that cheese sat as part of a full wheel in a dark cave where someone washed it in salt water, flipped it over, and scraped bad mold off by hand. It had a full-time babysitter. The cave sat at about 55°F in thick, damp air around 90% humidity. Your fridge runs at 38°F with dry air around 65%. The cave is warm enough for good bacteria to slowly break down the cheese from inside, which is where all the sharp, deep flavor comes from. Your fridge was built to suck moisture out of the air. Good for keeping your milk fresh. Terrible for cheese. The skin on that wheel (called a rind) was alive. It was covered in bacteria and mold that were actually helping it, working like a living armor that fought off the bad stuff the same way your immune system fights a cold. And those good bacteria had been winning that fight for 7 straight years. Then someone cut the wheel open, sliced off a small wedge, wrapped it in plastic, and shipped it to your grocery store. Now the cheese is exposed on two or three sides with zero protection. Bacteria from all over your fridge, the open yogurt, the leftover curry from Tuesday, whatever else is in there, can land right on it. The small piece dries out fast because almost all of it is touching air. And the plastic wrap traps moisture against the cut surface, which is exactly what bad mold needs to grow. Fort Saint Antoine in eastern France is an old military bunker carved into a mountain. Inside, 100,000 wheels of Comte (a hard French cheese) age on wooden shelves while workers walk through and care for each one on a set schedule. Your wedge went from that level of treatment to sitting between a jar of pickles and some week-old pasta. That cheese was fragile the entire time. It spent 7 years in a fortress with a security team. Now it is in your fridge with nothing but plastic wrap between it and a slow death.

Buying cheese: "Aged 84 months" Ok then why can't it last another 2 weeks in my fucking fridge?

My mom died when I was 5 months old. I just found out 27 years later 🥹💔 After 27 years, I finally found out that my mother died when I was just 5 months old. My stepmom raised me all this time and never told me she wasn’t the one who gave birth to me. She treated me like her own biological child. Everything I needed, she provided. I went to public schools throughout my education, wore good clothes, and always had healthy food. My step-siblings never told me the truth either, because my stepmom warned them not to.

Sir, people in Pakistan are known for their warm hospitality their “mehman nawazī” is truly admirable. They also lead a decent lifestyle. The image we’ve grown up seeing, largely shaped by Bollywood, doesn’t always reflect reality. While we often mock or criticize them, they generally don’t respond in the same way in fact, many interact with Indians quite respectfully. It’s mostly politics and media narratives that have created this divide. As people, we should rise above that and avoid unnecessary mockery! 🙏🏻

@bainjal @TweetinderKaul Same group was funding Zubair (apparently on the personal insistence of Ratan) and inviting Mehdi Hasan for their litfest. Once instrumental in designing and building our nuclear bomb, they’re now trying to detonate one over India.

Spoke to sources in Nashik police & senior officials in Mumbai also a source in TCS. 1 Without mincing words the situation was quite alarming and the company a blue chip biggie fought hard at all levels - political, official and media to ensure that the story never came out. 2 TCS displayed a lackadaisical approach when the first complaints trickled in & effectively led a HR mounted cover up. The top leaders of TCS ought to be worried if this is the level of HR and corporate governance across the board in the company. Totally sub par. 3 Police sources say the company was more interested in ensuring that no bad press entailed instead of standing with the victims following due process and ensuring the accused are punished. Even now “calls” from Mumbai are coming in to supposedly monitor the process. 4 All Tata crisis communications companies have now put on the job to make the Nashik TCS sexual harassment and conversion racket disappear from all MSM 5 finally Nashik is just the tip of a very nasty iceberg apparently the HR hiring contagion has spread. if you don’t want this to vanish from the headlines where it has barely made an impact keep asking police & TCS to act

From someone who isn't part of full time political Twitter but have been observing it very closely, last 14 years can be divided into 4 phases on Twitter. Phase 1 (2012-2014) : > 90% Twitter was against UPA govt > Anti corruption outrage was at peak > People wanted Congress Govt out at any cost. > Gujarat Model was being used to push Modi at national level. Phase 2 (2015-2020) : > Peak Pro Modi wave era > 75% Twitter were pro Modi > 25% Twitter were complaining about rising intolerance > Any criticism to Modi or his policy and you'll get "Go to Pakistan", "You're anti national" kind of comments. > Any complaint about inconvenience due to demonetization kind of policy and you will get "Soldiers are fighting on border and you can't even stand in queue" > Surgical strikes were celebrated Phase 3 (2021 to 2024) : > Twitter divided 50-50, pro and anti Modi > Pro Modi supporters were still celebrating Ayodhya temple, Article 370 removal etc > 25% pro modi who became Anti now were angry on high taxes, no tax relief from many years, lack of courage to implement good policy, rollback of farm laws etc > Still No visible support for Congress Phase 4 ( 2025-2026): > 75% Twitter became anti Modi govt > Broken infra, corruption in Govt offices, potholes, water filled roads and incompetence of Govt institutions became big issues. > UGC guidelines and ethanol blending got highly criticized > Propaganda to hide failure and show false success about Modi Govt started getting exposed using Community notes and comments. > Opposition is still missing at large but old Modi supporters are now becoming the new opposition out of disappointment. Twitter is yet to reach the phase 1 era where almost everyone was against UPA govt but the way this is going Modi Govt may hit that milestone in next 2-3 years.
