@bainjal @TweetinderKaul Same group was funding Zubair (apparently on the personal insistence of Ratan) and inviting Mehdi Hasan for their litfest. Once instrumental in designing and building our nuclear bomb, they’re now trying to detonate one over India.

Spoke to sources in Nashik police & senior officials in Mumbai also a source in TCS. 1 Without mincing words the situation was quite alarming and the company a blue chip biggie fought hard at all levels - political, official and media to ensure that the story never came out. 2 TCS displayed a lackadaisical approach when the first complaints trickled in & effectively led a HR mounted cover up. The top leaders of TCS ought to be worried if this is the level of HR and corporate governance across the board in the company. Totally sub par. 3 Police sources say the company was more interested in ensuring that no bad press entailed instead of standing with the victims following due process and ensuring the accused are punished. Even now “calls” from Mumbai are coming in to supposedly monitor the process. 4 All Tata crisis communications companies have now put on the job to make the Nashik TCS sexual harassment and conversion racket disappear from all MSM 5 finally Nashik is just the tip of a very nasty iceberg apparently the HR hiring contagion has spread. if you don’t want this to vanish from the headlines where it has barely made an impact keep asking police & TCS to act

From someone who isn't part of full time political Twitter but have been observing it very closely, last 14 years can be divided into 4 phases on Twitter. Phase 1 (2012-2014) : > 90% Twitter was against UPA govt > Anti corruption outrage was at peak > People wanted Congress Govt out at any cost. > Gujarat Model was being used to push Modi at national level. Phase 2 (2015-2020) : > Peak Pro Modi wave era > 75% Twitter were pro Modi > 25% Twitter were complaining about rising intolerance > Any criticism to Modi or his policy and you'll get "Go to Pakistan", "You're anti national" kind of comments. > Any complaint about inconvenience due to demonetization kind of policy and you will get "Soldiers are fighting on border and you can't even stand in queue" > Surgical strikes were celebrated Phase 3 (2021 to 2024) : > Twitter divided 50-50, pro and anti Modi > Pro Modi supporters were still celebrating Ayodhya temple, Article 370 removal etc > 25% pro modi who became Anti now were angry on high taxes, no tax relief from many years, lack of courage to implement good policy, rollback of farm laws etc > Still No visible support for Congress Phase 4 ( 2025-2026): > 75% Twitter became anti Modi govt > Broken infra, corruption in Govt offices, potholes, water filled roads and incompetence of Govt institutions became big issues. > UGC guidelines and ethanol blending got highly criticized > Propaganda to hide failure and show false success about Modi Govt started getting exposed using Community notes and comments. > Opposition is still missing at large but old Modi supporters are now becoming the new opposition out of disappointment. Twitter is yet to reach the phase 1 era where almost everyone was against UPA govt but the way this is going Modi Govt may hit that milestone in next 2-3 years.

📍The day is not Far, when Nepal and Sri lanka will also Treat Indian passport holders in similar way. Bro from South India planned a trip to Southeast nations by road. Bro thought India is a 4.2 trillion economy and since our PM travels freely across countries, he would also have a smooth experience. Bro reached immigration and saw the reality, how the passport value is treated. Bro was made to wait for an hour, despite other nations were sent without wasting a second, he was questioned about money and hotel bookings. Bro saw another Indian denied entry and sent back despite having enough money and bookings, becuze it was fresh passport. So next time when you see NRI Indians shouting Modi Modi, remember the ground reality can be very different. Meanwhile, Modi ji travels on a diplomatic passport, unlike you on a regular one.

I hated the ICICI NRO/NRE banking experience so much that I closed my account today. I already knew Indian banking isn’t great, but I assumed a top bank like ICICI would be manageable. I was wrong. The experience was terrible. I don’t understand how people regularly use these accounts. - The app fails to work most of the time. - ICICI representatives sometimes call me in the middle of the night just to check if everything's okay. - They ask me to redo KYC every year. That’s fine, but the process is outdated. I had to download forms, fill them manually, sign with ink, print documents, and attest everything. It feels like 2015. - I get account closure warnings every six months if I don’t use it. This might make sense for regular accounts, but not for NRE accounts. I live in the US and don’t use it often. These limits shouldn’t apply as long as there’s sufficient balance. To keep it active, I had to make a ₹1 transaction. Since the app doesn’t work, I had to log in through the website. - Until recently, they didn’t allow password manager autofill. I had to manually type a 14-character random password every time. There are many more issues I’m probably forgetting. Overall, a very frustrating experience. If you had good experience with any others Indian banks with NRE/NRO accounts please let me know.

Last night I wrote a post appreciating how Pakistan is handling the situation, and if they manage to pull off the peace talks successfully, they absolutely deserve credit. The post did well, got a lot of engagement and likes. I deleted it. What I noticed was that almost 90% of the comments turned into mocking India, bringing up things like chaiwala, Rafale, and calling India weak. Let me make one thing very clear. I can appreciate another country’s efforts, but that does not mean I will tolerate disrespect towards my own country just for engagement or likes. Respect goes both ways. Yes, Pakistan might be doing a good job here, and if they succeed, credit where it’s due. But India is also doing exceptionally well diplomatically, just in a different way. There are strong, calculated reasons why India is not stepping in, and those decisions are made keeping long-term national interests in mind. So appreciate where it’s deserved, but don’t confuse that with weakness.
