BREAKING: Conservative MP Amerjeet Gill, has made a statement, that he has been approached by the Liberals, to cross the floor. Mark Carney is working overtime on trying to obtain a majority government. Amerjeet, firmly shut them down. Carney has zero respect for voters.

The Conflict of Interest Act imposes a two-year cooling-off period for former ministers. This restricts post-employment activities to prevent conflicts of interest or the appearance of using former influence for private benefit.  During the cooling-off period, former reporting public office holders are restricted from certain activities, such as accepting employment with entities they had significant dealings with in their last year in office. Former ministers are also restricted from making representations to former Cabinet colleagues.  So I’m wondering: WTF?!
