@CrimsonDesert_ Don’t apologize to these idiots, use any tool in the correct ways to produce the best version of a product for your customers.

We would like to address questions regarding the use of AI in Crimson Desert. During development, some 2D visual props were created as part of early-stage iteration using experimental AI generative tools. These assets helped us rapidly explore tone and atmosphere in the earlier phases of production. However, our intention has always been for any such assets to be replaced, following final work and review by our art and development teams, with work that aligned with our quality standards and creative direction. Following reports from our community, we have identified that some of these assets were unintentionally included in the final release. This is not in line with our internal standards, and we take full responsibility for it. We also acknowledge that we should have clearly disclosed our use of AI. While these tools were primarily used during early production, with the expectation that these assets would be replaced prior to release, we recognize that this does not excuse the lack of transparency. We sincerely apologize for these oversights. We are currently conducting a comprehensive audit of all in-game assets and are taking steps to replace any affected content. Updated assets will be rolled out in upcoming patches. In parallel, we are reviewing and strengthening our internal processes to ensure greater transparency and consistency in how we communicate with players moving forward.

For sure, in this image there is something that feels off about the board columns having the darker background but hidden columns being floating and the details pane actually overlap them - its just i chose to also select display options that hide that overlap to indicate its not clear that the right two buttons are right pane toggles but the left two are drop downs. It could just be my personal taste that I tend to lean away from a pure flat design and miss a bit of the hard edges, borders, alternating table column colors and less rounded edges.

@RocketLeague It’s brutal that they had no care or love for the community for years until they saw the player count rise.

Before the competition heats up in Season 22, we wanted to say thank you to our entire community for playing Rocket League and bringing the hype every day! You all helped drive us to over one million concurrent players for the last 7 weekends in a row 🙌 Your clips, watch parties, and passion (we see you, @jynxzi) are all part of what’s fueling this moment and bringing more players to the pitch than ever before. This is Rocket League! 💙🧡

@RhysSullivan I love that you have no types, custom exceptions, reusable clients, or other optimizations in the left example - all to push this trash library. As if you can’t make a simple agent file and some readmes to explain your code patterns, which you need to be doing for design anyway.

this is why you should be using Effect, in the long term it's much more token efficient than writing standard TS your AI gets knowledge about how your whole system works, what errors can happen, and can leverage the o11y to debug it all

@RhysSullivan @EffectTS_ What’s the benefit of this over standard TS? Models are already trained on “vanilla” typescript this seems a bit superfluous?

@thdxr Personally no. But don’t forget every time Effect is mentioned another codebase turns to trash.

what if in opencode.json you could specify project references references: ["git@github.com:Effect-TS/effect.git"] these would get cloned to a global cache and kept updated and opencode would have a subagent that could answer questions about them would you use this?

And the next day I learned that Chinese bots are spamming to keep 4o as if someone is trying to orchestrate a smear campaign against OpenAI. Wild.

@aarondfrancis I just downloaded solo to give it a try, and its a pretty solid start to the problem. I know this extends past its scope, but I wish I could easily trigger project commands while I was in Solo like to reset my local database or to fire off integration tests.

@Tesla_Optimus It makes complete sense from a profit standpoint but every manufacturer has their top of the line vehicles to show what they can really do, without the roadster ever releasing the model S and X are going to be greatly missed.

@rough__sea We aren’t even a decade from a glimpse of this reality. It’s a large language model not AGI, stop using your influence so irresponsibly. We are merely seeing a stepping stone in our efficancy to learn and work, across all fields.

This has been said a thousand times before, but allow me to add my own voice: the era of humans writing code is over. Disturbing for those of us who identify as SWEs, but no less true. That's not to say SWEs don't have work to do, but writing syntax directly is not it.

@mitchellh @thorstenball Its a nightmare. This week was my first attempt to solve an OSS issue and I realized it required a larger solution so I wanted a maintainers input on my observations, yet I cant seem to get it. There is so much noise of other tickets, thoughtless PRs, and random comments 😭

@thorstenball It’s a fucking war zone out here man. Maintainer morale at an all time low. I totally empathize with the projects that flip the table and ban all AI. I’m getting close to saying only maintainers and accepted issues can have any AI .

If you took a list of PRs today and showed it to me 5y ago without any context, I'd think that somehow everyone got learning disabilities. And that's insulting to people with learning disabilities because they're actually perfect, while these PRs are by deeply flawed people. That's how stupid 90% of AI coded PRs look.

. @AnthropicAI blocking requests by text matching only @opencode is a wild way to double down on ruining customer relationships. Whoever is making these decisions is a certified idiot sandwich. Literally just lower subscription limits if it’s such a problem.
