@melanji Wait I only thought stuff like monitor matters, does keyboard, mouse and even mousepad matters? What am I missing here? I use a 75hz monitor, an old keyboard (not technically mechanical) and a local company mouse. Can someone clarify this or it's just me overthinking?

We’re committed to bringing back regional competitions and making them greater than ever. SEA will be expanded into multiple regions: Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Wild Card (PH, SG, MY, and rest of SEA). South Asia and Oceania will also have regional competitions qualifying to LCQ.

@coachlandry0 but know there is 12 extra teams with t1 experience joining the competition. Also how the fuck are the going to work out qualification for 6 subregions( with one of those having 5 sub sub regions) when there are only 4 teams at kick off that can qual?

@coachlandry0 I have a feeling this system is going to crash and burn in pacific. How many teams from the wild card subregion can make it? if its just 1 why the fuck would anyone invest if PRX are just going to win it. 12 teams for the cups is to little. this worked when it was for ascension

@pradhumxx @lhfaria I get the point, but population and passion alone don’t justify a VCT slot. GE was supposed to represent South Asia, yet they haven’t fielded Indian players. If SA’s own partner team isn’t showcasing local talent, Riot may question what a dedicated SA pathway represents.

NEW INFOS ABOUT VCT 2027 All VCT regions are set to feature eight Partner Teams in 2027 Partner teams will continue to receive a base payment while also retaining revenue generated through team capsules 💵 Teams that qualify for either the Kickoff or a Cup through the open circuit will each receive $100,000. Should an open team secure qualification for a Masters event, it will earn $200,000. A team advancing from the open ecosystem all the way to Champions will receive $400,000.
