@KemiBadenoch 46% of the country are Christian so thats less than the percentage who wanted to stay in the EU.... so why are you catering to the minority. We aren't American.... we aren't religious fanatics like them.

Britain is a Christian country. The Conservative Party will always celebrate our Christian heritage with deeds, not just words. This Easter, we want to ensure local churches are properly maintained and repaired so weโ€™re announcing a plan toย restore funding for the Listed Places of Worship Grant Schemeย which the government has recently placed caps on. Churches matter. They arenโ€™t just important places of worship, in many towns and villages they are the centre of the community and the pride of local people, often steeped in hundreds of years of history.ย It is critical we maintain them properly, because when theyโ€™re gone, this history and heritage could be lost forever. @Conservatives believe we have a responsibility to protect our churches and make sure they endure for future generations.ย  What are we for if not to conserve the very best of our country and our society for those yet to come? Conservatives will protect our heritage and build a stronger country.

Hey @LouisTheroux! Remember me? We were pretty good friends but then they destroyed my career and you stood by and watched. Anyways, don't you think it's somewhat hypocritical for @amnesty to complain about the Manosphere when they went to court to argue women aren't protected in UK law?
Amnesty UK@AmnestyUK

Watching Into the Manosphere, itโ€™s easy to see it as collection of individuals sharing hateful views. But that framing is exactly what the people interviewed want. When we see them as isolated trolls, we miss the bigger picture. The influencers targeting womenโ€™s autonomy are not alone. There is coordinated movement investing in rolling back womenโ€™s rights. Amnesty research uncovered 65+ UK anti-rights groups, 32 of which spent ยฃ106 million between 2019-2023. This is a well-funded attack. The Alliance Defending Freedom used the US courts to dismantle Roe v. Wade. Emboldened by their wins in the US, they are now importing those strategies to roll back freedoms in the UK. The Alliance Defending Freedom increased its spending in the UK by 187% between 2019 and 2023, for a total of ยฃ3.9 million. They have their sight on womenโ€™s rights. The profit-seeking manosphere gets rich from young menโ€™s disenfranchisement. They blame women and feminism for the issues young men face. Meanwhile, the anti-rights movement invests millions of pounds to make changes through policy. Their goal is to rewrite who deserves dignity and freedom. Watching Louis Theroux's Into the Manosphere, itโ€™s easy to see it as collection of individuals sharing hateful views. This is not just hate. It is an industry. But we know even the most organised money canโ€™t win against organised people. The fightback is now.

making it a percentage doesn't make sense at all. Restaurants and bars charge you 2x for a bottle of wine. If you buy a 300 dollar wine(real price 100ish) they're already making a huge profit but also the amount of effort or labor it's the exact same. If i order a 50 dollar wine you're still gonna walk the same steps and fill the same glass. This "percentage" based systems punishes whoever wants to spend more which ultimately it's the one you're making the most profit from

Football exposes the contradictions of multiculturalism on a world stage. We're told that people of the Muslim faith are just as English as the rest of us. Yet multiculturalism also encourages to celebrate their own culture and prioritise it above any kind of English one. So we end up with the celebration of England's first ever Muslim player - hooray - only for him to refuse to sing (or even pretend to sing) the country's national anthem. Which is obviously his individual choice. But it's worth asking what exactly we're celebrating when we celebrate Diop Tehuti Djed-Hotep Spence as English. Am I being unfair? Were other (not Muslim) players not singing it either? Perhaps he just finds singing embarrassing?

This is how electrical stunning is performed in slaughterhouses. A controlled electric current is applied for a few seconds to cause immediate loss of consciousness before slaughter. The goal is that the animal does not perceive pain during the process.
