Thinking about Mom today, and ran across this tweet from Tony Dungy. Thanks , Coach.

@AdubColtsfan God doesnโ€™t promise us physical protection at all times. But He does promise us spiritual protection. And He promises is an eternal home if we believe Him. And He hasnโ€™t gone back on any of those promises.

Not sure what kind of start Iโ€™m going to get off to or the game Iโ€™ll have on the first tee but itโ€™s going to be important to stay patient and take it shot by shot. I feel good in the prep that Iโ€™ve done and all I can do is fully commit to my shots and pursue them the best that I can and see what happens. Iโ€™ll be watching some of the early coverage to see how the course is playing. Wish me luck!

Augusta Diaries Wed -Fina prep day on the course. I played the first nine. It was nice to look at the notes I had written down from Monday and to double check some of them. I made slight adjustments to some of them but I was happy with the homework that I had done. -The wind is out of the NE or thereabouts. It made the first nine very challenging. The only downwind shots were 2 tee, 4 tee and everything else felt into the wind. 2 was almost harder as it was down off the left and super hard to turn it over enough with that wind. Itโ€™s going to be way less windy during the tournament but it looks like itโ€™ll be out of that NE most of the week. -Played the Par 3 contest with good friend Si Woo Kim. Actually played the first nine with him today as well. I had my gf caddie for me and we had an awesome time. Temperature and the scenery was perfect. Still looking for that elusive ace though. -I tee off 1139. Will get to the course around 930 to do some warm up and eat some food as well. I have a feeling the greens are going to be really firm and itโ€™s going to play different than last yr. Last yr, there was a ton of rain that softened things up early but not this yr. Itโ€™ll be that much more important to hit my numbers.

Having Pat McAfee, Jason Kelce, Bert Kreischer and Kevin Hart at The Masters is the epitome of ESPN's cultural degradation of sports. Augusta National should be the ultimate place of dignity and reverence and these ignominious dullards debase it with their sophomorish hijinks.

My favorite parts of this video are when Megan Rapinoe does quotes around โ€œbiological femaleโ€ as if itโ€™s something thatโ€™s new and completely made up, and when she claims itโ€™s not scientific that males have advantages in sports over females

Thoughts from Valero: -T2! Iโ€™m proud of the finish but even more so from the way I did it. I went through a super hot stretch but while finishing round 3, I felt my driver swing going in a bad direction. In yrs past, after the 9th hole in rd 4, I prob would have finished 10th at best. Ive learned what happens in my swing when I struggle like this and I was able to piece it back together and make a run towards the end. -18th hole was playing so tough. I hit a really good driver, 3wd then had to hit a PW from 100 yds. It wasnโ€™t adrenaline that made me hit it over the back, the wind laid down a bit, or the wind was covered by the stands too much. Tommy also hit PW from very similar spot but came up well short. I needed to make birdie to PW was the only choice. It was actually a sick bunker shot for a tap in par. -The swing I made on 16 with a 5i, is something Iโ€™m going to remember for a long time. It was so flush, it looked perfect as soon as I looked up and was an absolute dart when I really needed it. -Iโ€™ve actually never liked TPC SA tbh. Itโ€™s a windy, desert golf where you can be re-teeing pretty quick. I decided to play because I wanted to play the week before the Masters and I sure am glad I did. Tiring week but obviously well worth it!
