If you don’t like dealing with the public, Stratford Bus Station is probably the absolute last place you should be working. A passerby had to step in and give this TfL worker a lesson in customer service after he patronised an elderly woman for asking a question

I think it's quite clear, Trump is forcing a reality check: if allies won't defend their own vital interests in the Strait of Hormuz (where they get 80-90% of their oil), why should America keep subsidizing their security indefinitely? Decades of underinvestment and risk-aversion have left Europe and others ill-prepared for independent action, and he's making the point that true alliances require mutual burden-sharing, not one-way protection.

Trump is yet again trying to bully Britain into joining his illegal war in Iran. What more will it take for Starmer to cancel the King's state visit to the US? We shouldn't reward someone who is pushing up people's energy bills and repeatedly insulting our country.

@MikeParcej I also agree with most of the points in the letter.

I have to say that, although the Barstewards and me haven't always seen eye to eye, i 100% agree with every word of this letter. Gold stars to Cathryn for voicing what all of us think.
