we just had our first Eritrean🇪🇷 passport holder join Phantom. never thought i would live to see this day for those who dont know - it's a random country in Africa with a population of 3.5m that is the ONLY OTHER country in the world (other is USA) that has global tax on their citizenship. That means if you spend 0 days per year in Eritrea as a citizen, you still owe taxes there. Crazy. dw, we'll still find a way for him to save massively on taxes. There's ALWAYS a workaround 🥷

watching our creators go viral never gets old. the first time i went viral on tiktok was back in 2020, when the only way to blow up was through dance videos. except i wasn't dancing. i was promoting my ecom brand in a sea of choreography. it was such a blue ocean back then. i'll never forget the feeling. i was at the gym on the stairmaster when my phone started blowing up. i genuinely thought something was broken, like my shopify had glitched. so i kept climbing. then i heard the cha-ching notification go off every two seconds. i made a quite a bunch money in that single day. it was insane. now, 6 years later, i've gotten to coach 30+ creators through that exact same moment, the first time their video pops off. and honestly? it's a bittersweet feeling. because right when they're convinced nothing is working, the video hits. fully deserved. every time. i don't think i'll ever stop feeling grateful for that.

I'm going to start running a cold email campaign to other agency owners who are looking to offload their clients. I don't know of anybody who's done this before but keen to get your thoughts. We're going to start running hooks along the lines "are clients you want to get rid of or don't like working with" I think there's an avenue here for some easy arbitrage whereby we buy other agencies' books of business. Let's see how it goes. Has anybody done this before?
