Thank you Gehlot saheb. This is a rare direct and unequivocal response from a senior political leader from majority community to ruthless politics of repression against Muslims. Hope other well meaning leaders pick up courage to raise their voice. @ashokgehlot51 @RahulGandhi

@HMOIndia

You all must have noticed that the decisions of the entire cabinet, or any issue that comes into the limelight, the BJP has made everything revolve around just one person, and that is the PM. What has happened as a result is that we don't even know who the Education Minister is, who the Textiles Minister is, or who the Environment Minister is. All of them are incompetent. They are only good for photo shoots with party workers, IT cell members, and temple visits.

The key issue should not be whether a woman wears a burqa, hijab, ghoonghat, jeans, saree, or any other attire. The important question is whether she is genuinely free to choose. A woman should not be forced to cover herself, nor should she be pressured to uncover herself. Personal autonomy should be respected regardless of religion, culture, or lifestyle.

If BJP loses the 2029 elections, my breakdown would be: 33% Nitin Gadkari, 33% Dharmendra Pradhan, 33% Nirmala Sitharaman and just 1% Congress. That's how much damage I think the first three have done compared to the opposition.

Let me tell you one thing. People like #ImtiazAli say that wearing a burqa is wrong because it is imposed on women. Okay, Imtiaz Ali sahab, then tell me: what is the ghoonghat? What about the attire that nuns in Christianity wear to cover themselves? What is that? Even today, if you go to states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, you will find many women who do not go out without a ghoonghat. So what is that called? Nowadays, regardless of whether someone is Muslim, Hindu, or from any other community, most people living in metro cities do not wear either a burqa or a ghoonghat. They find themselves comfortable that way. What's the big deal? But when a woman chooses to dress modestly, people often label it as oppression rather than respecting it as her own choice. For you, showing more skin might be comfortable or a sign of modernization, but not every woman wants to dress that way. Some women choose to dress modestly. At the end of the day, it is an individual's choice what they want to wear. Everyone should have the freedom to make their own choices, regardless of religion, and those choices should not be judged.

Eventually, the tables will turn. The same machinery that the @BJP4India & other ruling parties use against the opposition will hit them too, we’ve seen this script in country after country. Be in govt, do scams. Be in opposition, get raided. @INCIndia & @BJP4India have both played this game. But I’m stunned: A 140-year-old @INCIndia has less funds than a 28-year-old @AITCofficial . Meanwhile, @BJP4India in power with majority only since 2014, has built a funds of over ₹10,000 crores in just 12 years. We should definitely pay attention to this.

This is BJP’s Party office in just an Assembly in Bankura, West Bengal. Just look at the costly Italian Marble flooring, Five star interiors. But nobody can enquire about the source of funds.

Rahul Gandhi is absolutely right and unapologetically bold on this issue again. Congress must fight for Muslims by clearly calling out injustice as a Muslim cause — not hide behind vague “minority” labels. Specific problems deserve specific recognition and targeted action. Whether it’s Muslims, Dalits, or any marginalised community, justice demands directness, not dilution. Strong representation, open advocacy, and unapologetic defence of the vulnerable is what real politics for the people looks like. Appreciate this clear-eyed stand, Rahul. India needs more such honesty. This is no vote bank politics. #RahulGandhi #SocialJustice #Congress

I started liking Rahul Gandhi as a person when I was still a hardcore BJP supporter. Yes, you read that right. I was 17 when I first joined Twitter and landed on the far right side of it. I met kind, protective people who loved me wholeheartedly and became my internet family. Back then, Twitter was all about connections and friendships. I'm still friends with many of them, but one thing I don't like now is that, despite knowing I was just a teenager, they imposed their ideology on me. They did not let me choose for myself. Coming back to Rahul Gandhi. I was also fed the "Pappu" stereotype about him, and I believed it. I started looking for content, speeches, and articles about him so I could make memes and mock him. But the more I listened to him, read about him, followed his campaigns, watched his media interviews, and considered the opinions of journalists and political analysts, the more I realized that much of what I saw online was false. It was a narrative. He is completely different from how the mainstream media and the far right have portrayed him. He is well educated, kind, emotionally intelligent, articulate, respectful, and compassionate. I have never seen him be disrespectful or hateful toward anyone, including his political rivals. In my opinion, Rahul Gandhi is a patriot, an honest leader, and a voice for the youth and the future of this country. Happy Birthday, Pookie Rahul Gandhi Sir ❤️🎀✨ #HappyBirthdayRahulGandhi

Mr. @ImranNDar , care to comment? Your party handed over education and healthcare, the two most important sectors, to Madam @sakinaitoo ji. In 2 years, she has done absolutely nothing. Many schools have no teachers, and the ones who are there don’t even know how to teach. In healthcare, doctors have abandoned govt hospitals for private clinics. No one comes, no one cares. All Madam knows is blaming Sunil Sharma and Iltija Mufti. Bhai, do some actual work. Hope you reply.
Javed Dar@javeddar786

Dear @ImranNDar you say the allegations must be examined fairly and that medical judgments should be assessed only by experts. But in this case, the health minister appears to have indicted the doctor even before any inquiry was completed. Rather than focusing on what others have said, you should first see the health minister's own statements before commenting.

No such insider news has been told to this gentleman, but whatever this guy has said is true. If once someone accepts accountability and admits their own mistake, then something will happen almost every other day, and that minister will have to resign because of it. The @BJP4India doesn't want that, because it would eventually lead to the fall of their govt and portray it as weak.
Ruben Mascarenhas@rubenmasc

BJP insiders tell me that Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation will create a bad precedent for them and create a ‘domino effect’, with so many other sections joining in, to fix accountability. They will then seek resignations for governance failures and poor public service delivery. The buck stops at the PM. #Cockroaches

Look at how Italy responded when @realDonaldTrump falsely claimed that @GiorgiaMeloni had begged or requested a photo with him. Official visits are reportedly being cancelled, and Italy's Prime Minister herself called the claim baseless and described Trump as a liar. But when @realDonaldTrump repeatedly claimed credit for the India-Pakistan ceasefire, Pakistan shamelessly accepted the narrative, benefited diplomatically, received financial assistance, and even secured an invitation to the White House. Our response, however, was limited to having an @MEAIndia spokesperson say that the claim was incorrect. Why didn't we issue a stronger response? Trump didn't make the claim just once, he repeated it several times. Similarly, when 3 Indian sailors were killed recently, why did we only express concern instead of giving a stronger response? Is this how India becomes a Vishwaguru? Is this what being a powerful nation looks like? Is Prime Minister @narendramodi so powerless that he cannot even directly respond to such statements? @KapilSibal @nitishrajput @ashutosh83B @SauravDassss @saurabhtop @sundaysarthak @HelleLyngSvends @thevirdas @TARUNspeakss @varungrover @kunalkamra88 @RoflGandhi_

If PM @narendramodi ji had also directly told @realDonaldTrump , "Why were our three sailors killed? We need an international apology," we would have stood with him and supported him as well. @GiorgiaMeloni did not ask the opposition for permission before responding to @realDonaldTrump . A Prime Minister should prioritize the self-respect, integrity, and sovereignty of his country, and his own office, rather than focusing on skincare, foreign tours, and photoshoots.

If this is true, then @OmarAbdullah must answer. He attends every conclave and huddle, be it @the_hindu , @IndianExpress , or any other, and talks big about private investments in J&K, etc. But when such investments actually happen, he fails to protect them. Whatever the reason, he must come forward and tell us. He cannot always choose to remain silent on issues that are un-noticed by the masses. This is a question concerning the youth of J&K. Where are his ministers, who stand side by side with him during every marathon but are nowhere to be seen when this is happening? And where is the opposition? Why are they not focusing on these issues rather than flaunting their LG and Central government support? J&K is doomed. @JKNC_ @BJP4JnK @jkpdp @INCJammuKashmir @sakinaitoo @parawahid @RuhullahMehdi @CM_JnK @OfficeOfLGJandK @Office_ASRM @Sunil_SharmaBJP

After losing Muralitharan's ₹1,600 crore bottling plant from Kathua, Jammu to Pune, another major investment is now slipping away from Jammu. Grew Energy's proposed ₹4,500 crore solar module manufacturing plant in Kathua is also exiting! Both companies have reportedly cited the same issue, inadequate incentives and delayed subsidies! What exactly is the J&K Govt doing? Apart from organizing marathons and publicity events, where is the effort to protect investments that could create thousands of jobs for local youth? While other states are aggressively competing for investments, Kathua-Samba-Jammu belt continues to lose and be ignored despite having tremendous potential, connectivity, and available land. Much-hyped IT Policy 2021 is also practically dead. Years later, there is no show on the ground!

@BJP4Bengal seems to have an opportunity in Bengal at the moment, with the opposition space appearing fragmented. @RitabrataBanerj reportedly sought a larger role in the opposition and gained the support of some rebel MLAs, which led to perceptions that he was positioning himself as a major political player. However, Bengal politics is still largely centered around @MamataOfficial and the @BJP4India . In that context, the actions of individual leaders like @RitabrataBanerj may have limited impact on the broader political landscape. Ultimately, any major political contest in the state is likely to remain between @MamataOfficial and the BJP. P.S. Not a supporter of any political party.
