I have three daughters and it has never even occurred to me to degrade myself like this to relate to them. Nor has it occurred to them.

It’s a learned behavior. Who is she around outside of school that could possibly be portraying this attitude? She wasn’t born with this behavior. Just remember, children are a product of their environment and if their environment is questionable and would be considered unacceptable in public then it’s likely something that needs to be worked on from the inside. We love our children enough to instill and pour into them, all the qualities they will need to become law, abiding respect, respectable adult adults
