Yet another arson attack which appears to be targeting the Jewish community. Hatzola ambulances in Golders Green. A synagogue in Finchley. And now, in Hendon, the former site of a Jewish charity where the signage is still visible in the window. Police say a man was witnessed approaching the site carrying a plastic bag filled with three bottles of fluid. He placed the bag against the building and attempted to set it alight. The bottles failed to properly ignite, and he fled the scene. Counter Terrorism Policing London is investigating, and we urge anybody with information to come forward. It is the third incident of its kind in the space of a month in London alone. Police have also only just reopened a central London park over a drone threat near the Israeli embassy. Britain is under attack and those responsible will not stop at targeting Jews. Meanwhile, the Government thinks it is “not appropriate” to proscribe Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Ministers have yet to tell us what urgent action they plan on taking to defeat those in our country who wish to see it burn to the ground. The time for empty platitudes has come and gone. We need action now.
