🇯🇵 Something I'm noticing more and more on X. When we were young, we were told that the Western world looked down on us. But almost all of the anti-Japanese posts come here from developing countries. I have to say that being on X has made me much more pro-Western.

My parents never encouraged me to work in high school. I remember talking to my dad about summer jobs and he said, “Why would you want to do that? You will have the rest of your life to work.”

@DanielleBFranz That’s an extreme example (they probably received that at a baby shower), but everyone should be stocking up when the things that they regularly use go on sale. For almost every consumable item in my house, I have a spare, ready to go.
